I saw a TV trivia column that syas this will end tonight. Somehow I'm disappointed. On the other hand, I don't have time to watch two hours.
I'll see how it goes. If I can getting away with extending the life of some of the shows I taped, I will. I've done this entirely too much on my new TiVo, so I'm afraid to tape more shows with it One day I'll end up losing shows.

I saw Irving in a movie over the weekend. He was a lawyer named Soul Train. Laurence Fishburne was a guy who raced motorcycles, and a friend of his died. The son thought he was invincible.

I thought a second season was agreed upon so it made me a little anxious when you said "will end tonight". I hope that means just the season and not the series. I never subscribed to TiVo because I did not understand how it worked. The only way I was convinced to get a DVR is because family members had it and showed me how to work it. I hope you can record the two hours. Should I put my comments on this episode in "spoiler text" just in case you want to post something before you watch it?

That might be a good idea, but I probably won't come here until Friday. I can definitely record both hours because that's how TiVo works. I've seen a lot of shows that I wouldn't have as a result. If the program is in the listings and my preferences will allow it, it will record. A show that gets pre-empted but doesn't get deleted from the listings is a problem unless you allow episodes aired less than 30 days ago to record. That's not something I usually do. But if they air the episode the next week, too bad. TiVo sees that as a rerun within the previous 30 days.
I only got TiVo because the man at Radio Shack said I could use it to record with an antenna. I now have one that will let me do that. But the first one required cable, so I had to go ahead and get cable. I did anyway because of all the problems antennas have after the transition.
Trust me, if I can figure out TiVo you can. You seem very intelligent and I have a hard time figuring out things that are hard. I often wonder how I made it through college.

Thanks for your kind comment and the information. I understand now. The DVR works differently in determining a re-run situation. A site I go to has an option to "Add to TiVo" and I thought that was cool. They do not have an option to "add to DVR".
I have two TVs that I do not use because I never bought the special boxes for them after I could no longer use the antennae.

No spoilers, since ya'll haven't seen it yet! But... OMG yes. Yes, freaking yes...LOVED the finale! Despite it left everyone in classic mortal peril and now we have a horrifically long hellatus to wait to find out what happens next. No, I did not see the twist at the end that the writers/creators/cast/etc were teasing us with, saying no one would see what was coming. They were right! I sure didn't. Good job, Sleepy Hollow! Writing a story filled with the unexpected. I haven't had this much fun following a series in a very long time. And even better: I was one of the contest winners! I saw the link the show tweeted that night, a contest to tweet an answer to a question, with hashtag #sleepyheads. So I was like "why the hell not!" and submitted my tweet. Never imagined it would be picked as a winner! So they are sending me either a Sleepy Hollow t-shirt or branded jacket. I'd be happy with either! I checked the network website, Sleepy Hollow doesn't have any official merchandise yet. So I'll be one of the first people to be wearing a Sleepy Hollow item! I told them I would tweet a pic of myself wearing whatever they send, so everyone can see that yes indeed, I am a Biggest Fan.

Liked the second hour. Missed part of the first hour. Felt like they left a whole lot out of the season until the last half hour of the last episode of the season. Harry is a sin-eater, he's Icabod's son and he's the second seal. Sheesh! Did Abby's sister die in that car crash? What will happen to Katrina now that the healess horseman, namely, Abraham, has made off with her? And how long will Icabod be buried again? I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'RE GOING TO MAKE US WAIT 8 MONTHS TO FIND OUT! Why such a short season? Only 13 episodes. I guess the network wasn't sure if the show was going to work so they ordered a short season. But when it proved to be popular, couldn't they have extended the season? 8 MONTHS. THAT'S BEYOND STUPID.

I truly enjoyed the finale. Were there five elements to the cliffhanger? Wow...they know how to throw a party.
I think Jenny will survive, but she does not know where they are and she will no doubt wind up in the hospital. They have taken the Captain away so she cannot appeal to him for help. Maybe Jenny can get help from those wild men she has worked with in the past.
It is just a little frustrating that the Horseman took Katrina after all of the work to keep her out of his clutches.

Eight months is too long. They need to keep the momentum going now that they have grabbed people's attention. I guess I will need to watch most of the episodes again close to the next season. I hope none of the cast gets an offer they can't refuse to go elsewhere.

Now I know why I had Neil Sedaka running through my head all afternoon Monday.
At least there were plenty of funny moments involving Crane's use of technology.
I did enjoy the mystery and I liked seeing the characters get the life they wished for. I've had dreams where one or both of my parents were still alive.
A tea party is not something comforting. It is in fact evil!
I feel bad for Irving having to sacrifice for his daughter.

Cable and British TV do it all the time. I just remembered that one of the flashbacks would certainly have been filmed near where I live. They had to pretend they were there if that's where they were going back to.

I forgot to mention I didn't know this was on at 8. Of course it would be. Fox doesn't have programs after 10 most nights.
So TiVo made it possible.

Congrats on the win Ani. Also, i'd like to see what else you have to add now that we've all seen the episodes. Liked the second hour. Missed part of the first hour. Felt like they left a whole lot out of the season until the last half hour of the last episode of the season. Harry is a sin-eater, he's Icabod's son and he's the second seal. Sheesh! Yeah, they really did save a lot for the finale. They leave Abbie in purgatory, Ichabod buried (or in this case reburied) Jenny dead or at least unconscious, and Irving being arrested. It feels like evil has the upper hand and i don't like it. After the car accident happened, i wanted to believe that Jenny survived but i don't think the headless horseman would have left if she was still alive. I mean, i'd like her to still be around but it's possible that the writers or whoever felt her story was done and decided to kill her off. Or, if she survives it was to keep her from getting the truth about the sin eater to Abbie in which case, he succeeded bc Ichabod knows but Abbie doesn't.
