Put a medium sized chicken in a baking pan. Put a small onion inside chicken. Rub it with butter and olive oil. Sprinkle it with sea salt, pepper, garlic, a touch of cinnamon, and a tiny bit of curry powder.
Cover chicken with aluminum foil, and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes...then, remove foil and continue to bake chicken for 30 more minutes or so. (Until it's brown and the skin is crispy) YUM.
Slice a few russet potatoes, and one large onion. In large skillet, put about 1/4 cup of oil in...add onion slices, and on top of that add potato slices...continue layering onion slices and potatoes.
Dot the top with butter...cover skillet and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes, then remove cover. Cook until potatoes are brown and slightly crispy. Don't forget to season potatoes...I suggest salt, pepper, garlic powder, and curry powder.
