Joe still has the charisma that lures people in. The young girl admired him and wanted him to stay although she knew his history. Her mother thought she could change Joe and save him. The Reverend had no illusions about Joe when he ran for his vehicle.
The young girl saw up close what murder looks like and I think she might not look at Joe as a romantic figure after that experience. I could be wrong about that though...she seemed more concerned that Mama would be mad than anything else.
Ryan has to keep in good condition if he is going to run every time the cult members bait him. I do not like the way Ryan is treating Mike because Mike does not deserve that.
I wondered for awhile if the survivor was a cult member because she survived. Then at the social event, I thought they were going to kill her. Now, I am not so sure because Mark and Luke had opportunity to kill her. Following the stunt with Ryan's neighbor last season, I do not trust any women who come into his life.
The twins are creating family units because they are "lost" and need Joe to father them. I think it is interesting that they chose Biblical names. Is there a medical term for what the twins are doing? They are so creepy!

Joe's new "families" cree[ me out. The twins? Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! And the mother(hooker)/daughter (who wants to know what killing is like)? Yikes. AA, I agree with you. I'm still not sure about the blond woman who survived. Too many of Joe's followers seem to be able to go for months acting normal until their true colors are revealed. Rember last season Emma and the two "gay" guys were involved in Claire's life more a LONG time before Joe set them into action. It looks like it's going to take a while for Ryan and Mike to work together. As much as Mike wants their old comradeship, I think Ryan wants to keep Mike away from him so he doesn't get killed. I think he likes/respects Mike and just doesn't want more blood on his hands after Claire and Donna. Of course, Mike is also obsessing on Donna..."if we had done just one more thing, just one more thing, we could have gotten there a minute sooner." I think Mike has serious revenge on his mind that could get him into trouble. I was so sure the twins had killed the little boy. I'm glad they didn't but why didn't they? What would stop them from destroying the whole family? Those two are definately the creepiest followers we' ve seen yet. Is that Emma in the pink hair and lip ring? I'm not sure. But she really believed Joe was dead. She must have gone seriously underground and cut herself off from the other members to not know what Curtis was up to. Curtis's days are numbered. That french chick can hardly wait to kill him. The reverend should not have been such a sex fiend. I found it a little clunky that he's the one who turned the TV back on while he was waiting to get laid. Boy, when Joe finds out someone recognizes him, he goes into full monster mode. The way he killed the reverend made that young girl completely freak! Wonder what will happen to her and her mother? Especially since the mother didn't want to join Joe's killer club but wanted to reform him! We're off to a great start. Can't wait for next week. I hope the twin that got shot is seriously hurt!

That is Emma and she is desperate to connect with other followers. I do not remember Emma's roommate, but I assume she is also murderous. SoCal, that is a good point that Joe's followers were undercover for years before they went into action. I am not ready to trust the survivor yet. The follower who got shot seemed weirdly excited by the whole event. Whew! That is another good point about Ryan trying to protect Mike by keeping his distance.
