The episode started off with a gruesome crime during a ballet rehearsal. A woman's body dropped to the stage and was severed into two parts. Holmes and Watson were called in to investigate the case, but first we were treated to a scene of the two of them at home. Joan made a pot of coffee and offered coffee in a to-go cup to a woman who had just left Sherlock's bedroom. Apparently, Sherlock has been sampling the charms of numerous women recently, and he referred to that as a form of exercise. Back to the case...one of the suspects was played by my 2nd favorite character on "Necessary Roughness", Nico. It appeared that divas make enemies who will go to extreme length to either extort them or kill them. Sherlock's sharp senses provided the clue that solved the case. Meanwhile, Joan made a promise to search for the friend of a homeless man. Her investigation led the police to a criminal operation where homeless people were locked in a basement so the villains could cash their checks for profit. Holmes provided a vital clue by recognizing and describing the odor of cigarette smoke that was on Joan's clothes. The final scene showed the continuing development of Holmes' character in which he showed empathy for the plight of the homeless.

I forgot to comment on the episode, but I did see it.
I can't remember any of my thoughts about it even after the summary.
