One if the main characters looks like Ashton Kutcher and he is the son one of the leaders of a group of aliens who came to Earth because their own planet is being destroyed. Sound familiar? Except the Kal-El of this race isn't on his own. There are a lot of his people. Actually, on "Smallville", a lot of Kryptonians did show up eventually.
And not only is he in high school, he has a cute girlfriend. But she still has her parents, while this show's Jor-El was killed. By her father, though accidentally.
The girl also seems to like a guy who works secretly with a man who behaves like he is with the Ku Klux Klan.
