They ran too long--again! Why can't they put some of that nonsense in the Red Carpet show? I tape that in case something worthwhile does happen, which it generally doesn't, but it has in the past. And why does that have to be more than an hour?
But some of those speeches were worth seeing. And some of those nominated short films looked really good, but I generally don't get to see them.
I do wonder why whe an award was given for sound, we didn't hear sound as the person went up on stage? Not that I'm complaining because we were, after all, seeing Sandra Bullock in a sexy outfit. Which we saw several times.

Wrestlingfan I agree with your comments about the Oscars… I thought the Wizard of Oz tribute was great and Pink was amazing.
I also thought U2 had a fantastic performance.
Ummmm….. I was a little frightened by Kim Novak. It must be hard having to leave the limelight.
Thank goodness for TiVo…. I could scan through much of it.
