Holy depression Batman! I thought the Ghostfacers would bring some humor to dispel the gloom over the Sam and Dean moodiness. Apparently someone decided the season was not depressing us enough so we were treated to a fall-out between the Ghostfacers. Why? I was interested in the mystery of the Thinman and was disappointed that it was not a real monster. I think I will enjoy this one more after we get past the "Sam refuses to forgive Dean" stuff.

The ghostfaces usually bring that humor but I feel that can come off as overly camp. really the Ghostfacers forced the boys to almost look in a mirror and see themselves. I don't mind that the monster was human because we see that everyday the bad in people turn on the news. I guess it would have been cool though as it was such a popular story.

When Sam overheard the conversation between the Ghostfacers, I hoped he would come to the realization that refusing to forgive Dean was hurtful. But I did not see evidence that it changed Sam. It all seemed sad to me.

I wonder when the Cain issue will be addressed. Maybe next episode when they hold an intervention for Crowley, he can give them the weapon and some more information.

This one was just ok for me, I gave it a 2. I did like it better than last week, there were a few things that I enjoyed, I liked seeing Sam's concern over Dean as Thinman almost cut dean's throat, I really enjoyed the tiny moment of them remembering what happened when they were kids, I wish it could have went on a little bit longer, and they brought up a couple of other memories.
But then the parallels and the anvils started dropping all over and it took away some of the enjoyment for me. I get that Harry and Ed's story is supposed to be the same/close to as Sam and Dean, but I really didn't need to be hit over the head to realize that conclusion. I am beyond over seeing Sam and Dean upset with one another, I am not enjoying the current storyline with them apart emotionally. It seems as if Dean has given up, and that is hard thing to see, I don't think he has done that more than a couple of times in the entire series. When he almost got his throat cut, he just sat there and didn't even seem liked he cared. He was also very cold when he killed Thinman, and I don't think we have seen the guys kill many people either.
I get Sam is still upset and he still needs to prove a point, but dammit, talk about it! Things don't magically fix themselves, they need to be talked about, and Sam is usually the one to talk, yet he is being stubborn and pigheaded, though Dean can be the same. Sam seemed really concerned when Dean was almost cut, that was nice to see.
I have the same feelings about this season as I did S7, it is starting to get depressing to watch and I am not enjoying it at all. It is a shame too, because there have been some great episodes this season, but now I am just making it thru them, and I hate feeling like that. I hope they get back to the big story points soon, we only have so many episodes left.
