Wow, that was quite an episode. Emma was so pretty. She hasn't tried to look pretty.
I did enjoy it when she didn't know who Hook was.
It was helpful that we had the explanation of the series beforehand. I can't recall seeing so many thoughts from the actors before and that was great.
I do wish someone had explained why Emma's parents look her age. I don't think I've ever heard this explained. Apparently during those 28 years no one from The Enchanted Forest aged.

I agree it was a good episode. Poor Hook...but he recovered pretty quickly from being kneed. Ouch! He has always been persistent.
I liked it when Belle whispered that they did not see Rumpel's knife so they might be able to locate him. He is my favorite character so I hope he returns.
They surprised me when Emma's boyfriend turned into a flying monkey. In other stories, could the monkeys morph into humans? This show is confusing me.
It seemed to me that Aurora planned to tell "her" about the return of our group. I wonder if she was talking about the Wicked Witch.
I think they made a very brief attempt at explaining this in the episode where they showed the Queen living the exact same scenes every day in Storybrooke. She would greet people and they would return the same greeting every time. Nothing changed and no one aged. That was why she became bored and decided adopting a child would give her life meaning.
Edit: I am not sure I saw the end of the episode. Watching too many shows in one night.

That's the closest they came to an explanation, and while I thought of that, "Groundhog Day" is not really an explanation.
