The young people have landed on the planet and most of them seemed very happy to be away from the space station. I understood why when we learned of the harsh rules they had to live by.
The teenagers acted like they thought being on the planet will be fun and do not seem worried about survival. The few who are concerned are derided and unpopular.
I think it is a good show.
Casualties and near misses:
2 boys wanted to do the anti-gravity float while on the ship - R.I.P. 1 boy was impaled by a very big spear - R.I.P. 1 girl was bit by a giant water snake but was rescued

I am enjoying this series more than I anticipated. There are too many characters for me to narrow it to my top 3 favorites, but I can always switch the list around. Apparently, the people who were sent to earth committed transgressions that ranged from petty stuff up to serious stuff like murder. That was an unfair thing to do to the children and it explains why some of the guys are acting like bullies. Some of the young people are really looking out for each other and care what happens so they might survive in spite of the narcissists. I am shocked that they survived their trek to rescue Jasper. I think the inhabitants let them get away so that they could observe their campsite. I liked the beautiful glowing butterflies and the two-headed animal pendant that the boy made. That was sweet.

I liked the pretty butterflies too. And seeing Octavia take her clothes off.
There is beautiful scenery where the kids landed. We have the disputes over what to do on the ground and the disputes up in space about how many people to let die so everyone will survive, and keeping this plot secret from others on the space station.
I'm not going to call this one of my favorites because it is so dark, but it's good enough to keep watching. It's certainly more interesting than "Revolution".

I found a review of this series which mentions the book "Lord of the Flies". I never read that, but I thought of that myself since I had heard the plot of that book.

I never read "Lord of the Flies" either. The way the young people are acting sounds like what happened in that book.

1.3 Earth Kills
New (April 2, 2014)
Clarke, Wells and Finn search for a seaweed antibiotic to help Jasper.
I am still enjoying this series even though the young people are wild and dangerous.
When Jasper was moaning in pain, someone was yelling “Die already” That is so cold. Although I understand the moaning was nerve wracking, I think Bellamy was wrong to want to kill Jasper just to shut him up.
I was surprised that a very young child was sent with them and then I was absolutely shocked when Charlotte killed someone. I am irritated that they killed Clarke’s friend, but it is good that they were honest with each other before he died. No one will suspect Charlotte.
What is that yellow stuff – sulfur? That toxic fog gave Atom a horrible burn. I guess Clarke is the moral compass for the group because the mercy killing is different from the selfish things the others are doing.
Did the boy and girl who were lost find their way back? I cannot keep up with so many characters.

I agree about those who just wanted Jasper to die.
Charlotte is creepy.
I can't keep up either. It's a shame Adam couldn't be rescued but they don't have the ability to treat him. They were very lucky with Jasper.
I liked the flashbacks from the Ark.

This was a really violent episode. 1 hanging, 1 suicide, 2 severe beatings, blunt force attack, 1 exile, and 1 betrayal which should lead to a "floating"
I think the episode was well done. The only thing I did not like was the amount of time devoted to Charlotte.
Raven (the lady in the pod) is Finn's girlfriend and I think that was Finn who was kissing Clarke.

I'm curious how they plan to float people on Earth.
I'm so glad Raven is apparently going to make it to Earth.
That was terrible seeing them think everyone died.
I found a newspaper article about this show but haven't succeeded in finding it online.
At least they found a way to deal with Charlotte. She was cute but dangerous.

I noticed the voice over said “previously on the hundred” and I always think of the show as “the one hundred”.
As I anticipated, Raven’s arrival derailed Finn’s budding relationship with Clarke.
The truth brought out the best in people on the space station. I certainly was not expecting their reaction to the crisis.
Bellamy might care about his sister, but he is not a nice guy. Now, his temperamental sister will need rescuing.
I wonder what is worse, not seeing the flares from the earth or seeing them after the people have died.

I sure wasn't, and it's terrible they couldn't keep those people from dying.

The episode gave us the backstory on why Bellamy feels so responsible for his sister.
The earth continues to be dangerous for the children and some of them end bloody. Some stats
1 very bad decision (the masquerade) 1 capture 1 slit throat 1 impalement 1 knife to the chest 1 blunt force trauma 1 broken heart
I think Jasper was very brave to venture into the dangerous area after being impaled by a spear and being strung up.

decoy.tvpassport.com/news/dangerous-planet-earth-cws-new-sci-fi-drama-100-premieresThis was an article I read in an actual newspaper. With some effort, I was able to find it online. It never occurred to me that there should not be brothers and sisters on this show. The way it looked, I thought Bellamy and Octavia's mother was dying and Bellamy was going to have to raise Octavia. I wondered who the father was until I saw the way one of those inspectors touched their mother. I'm wondering just what she should have done when she became pregnant. Are they saying abortions are mandatory in that situation? It was interesting to see the flashbacks. At least one of the grounders behaves like a human. I wouldn't say he is nice ... A lot of kids died last night. They'd better get that radio fixed before more people die. The kids got the message about what happened.

So the radio finally works! And they really needed it. Clarke did an impressive job.
It's hard to watch how they treated that Grounder.
Those people may not have died for nothing. The claim was made that even though they can go to Earth, it could take time that they wouldn't have otherwise due to the limited oxygen. And there won't be enough spaces for everyone.
I have to wonder where they get everything that they have. After 97 years, you have to figure some of it has to be made from scratch. And where do they get the materials?

The Grounder knows a lot of English.
I'm glad this show was renewed. It's not that good but it can be interesting.
There was a movie with Arnold Schwarznegger where a fan was running and when the people saw it was being turned off, they realized they would die. The same thing happened on this show.
I can't even remember what else happened last week.

While I was watching "Unity Day", my heart pounded for a full minute when the explosion happened during the pageant. Give me some warning next time!
The launched ship shot through the sky much too fast, but I am sure there will be some survivors. That way, they can create even more drama than they have now.
The young people should not take Jasper on any more expeditions.

The Grounder Princess is actually sort of good looking. I guess no one gave her a good reason for a peaceful resolution.
