I agree...it is good Bell is able to perform all his duties now. Too bad the tragedy made him not feel like going to his party, but Sherlock was there for him. That was nice.
Both of the cases they worked on involved murder. Only one of the cases involved Sherlock staying up all night.

Holmes always stays up all nighters when he is working on a case.

I felt a sense of disbelief when we learned who and why the murder was committed. It seemed that the motive was for the sole purpose of keeping money out of the divorce settlement. There had to be a better way.

I forgot to comment on this episode. It was good to see Bell back at work. I don't think I've ever seen him really doing the work as opposed to helping out the captain.
My favorite thing about the episode was Sherlock coming into Watson's bedroom really early, causing her to cvover her head.
A man I used to go to church with 40 years ago had one of those paint machines where he worked. He was actually retired from delivering mail and he was also a fireman but he worked in a hardware store and I don't recall whether my father was buying the paint, but I did get to watch him shake it.
