I enjoyed the episode and I am glad they revealed more information about the year that Emma and Henry were in New York.
I give Hook kudos for refusing to kiss Emma and for trying to get Henry out of harm’s way. I do understand why Emma was upset about it since he did that without telling her anything about it.
The scene in which they were casting the spell to return to Storybrooke was rather surprising. They continue to come up with scenarios that I would never have guessed. Instead of “two hearts beating as one”, they have one heart beating as two.
Another surprise was that if Rumple’s son had enough motivation, he could break the connection temporarily.
Henry reacted very well when his memory returned and did not get upset like Emma did.
So...Mary Margaret was a true believer and the book revealed itself to her. Henry is Regina's true love so her kiss broke the spell. Emma is still special because her magic can defeat the wicked witch.
I think I missed the explanation for why the baby is needed for the wicked witch's spell.

I can't think of anything to add to that.

The Witch of the South was in the episode.
Now that character was not in the 1939 movie. But I have a beautifully illustrated book that does have her in it. When the Wizard took off in his balloon and left Dorothy, Dorothy in the book went to see her and had all sorts of other adventures the movie didn't deal with.
