You know how we were wondering why we suddenly had ads again today, less than a week after purchasing credits for 50,000 ad-free views?
It's because, Friday, with the launch of our Twitter site, the 'watch with us' promotions we did that night, and the debut of a new episode of SPN, we had . . . like I said, get ready for it . . . 16,029 page views. That's sixteen THOUSAND.
And the most visitors we've ever had in one day: 199.
We've got something going on here, ya know?

Wow that is amazing!! Just proves the hard work that Moon and his cohorts have put in for us has made this THE BEST FORUM EVER!!
Thanks Dee! The original Gang of Seven who created things are: Ohleesa PurpleDragon1229 PuppyDreams Lostcause MissNiChloe Anicat and some guy with a dog for an avatar. But they did most of the heavy lifting, working out how to bend the laws of physics to our will, and so forth. Oh, and of course, all the great suggestions we've gotten here on the board from members shaped things, too!

In all honesty, this board was created by more than just the 100 of us here.
It sprang from the power of fans connecting with one another on the original WB site, the CW Lounge, and the second WB site, forming bonds, becoming a family. Relationships forged that go back years and years.
Everyone who ever posted in one of those forums played a part, and I often hear the voices of those who are not with us yet, but remembered and missed, whispering something simultaneously outrageous, shocking, and funny in my ear . . . and making me grin.

But where the heck are all these members? If they simply join up and disappear that'll not help the morale about this lovely, friendly place. I really love this new board....but I'm beginning to talk to myself!

Well, over here in the USA it's 12:23PM on Sunday--the lunch hour--right now.
To put things in perspective, in the past 24 hours we've had half of our members here, plus 143 guests. That's not bad at all.

The magnificent seven, does that make me one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse? If it does, then can I be Death? More like Seven Deadly Sins, Puppy! You could be Lust! ((Obvious choice because she gets to make out with Dean))

It's passed 8pm where I am. I'm sitting in front of the telly, in front of a roaring fire. Great stuff!

Right now we're doing an experiment to see if we can bring our ad-free pageviews down while retaining our guest numbers, so we've made ad-free viewing available only to registered members. We should have enough data to make a decision by Wed. at 12 noon CST in the U.S. We blew through 50.000 ad-free pageviews in less than a week last week. It's funny, when I did some research last week on reducing pageviews, every one else out there is trying to increase them!
