Yes. Magicians do a routine and Penn and Teller have to figure out how it was done. If they can't, the magician gets to perform with them in Las Vegas. It's really good. We don't learn much about how the trick was done. Penn and Teller do something at the end of the show and sometimes they explain it.

There was a magician on "The Gong Show" but I think he may have gotten gonged.

I forgot to mention Alyson changed her clothes and hair this season. I like both better last year. She was so adorablw when Penn & Teller were both trying to sleep.
And they were fooled by a chicken!

Alyson is a perfect host. I say this because of her participation with the first two magicians. She is so squeamish. And when she disappeared, she wasn't too happy about it and wondered if she would come back. What's amazing about that is Penn & Teller couldn't figure out how it was done. She must have had some idea, though.

The episode that was pre-empted at the end of the season must have finally aired. The date the episode originally aired was November 30.

I don't know whether these guys were actually on the show, but I remember a pair who said they weren't like Penn and Teller because the tall guy is the one who doesn't talk. They used the same gag, if it was them, in "LA to Vegas". And the one who doesn't talk wouldn't talk, even out in the world.

I enjoyed the April Fool's prank they pulled on their unsuspecting audience - the one about the snow tire. That was pretty funny.

And he spoke on that show. But not in the presence of his wife.
On one episode Penn commented about a pair of magicians where one was shorter and didn't seem as intelligent and Penn liked that. Teller didn't look happy.
I'm waiting on the finale.

On "Speechless" JJ and his classmate were making a film, and one of the actors commented on how they make the magic, like Penn and Teller.
And either JJ or the classmate said one of them doesn't talk. It must have been the classmate because anyone translating for JJ talks slower.
