4.16 Blunt (2-24-15)
Reese and Finch must protect the suspect after a plan to rob a medical marijuana dispensary fails. I saw this episode, but I was confused at why she was doing it for.

The original person of interest owed money to the Cartel so she gave them information on when and where Dominic's people would be transferring a large sum of money. She gave Dominic’s bag of money to the Cartel and they let her live and dance in their club.

The actions of the person of interest were illegal and I do not think he should have gotten away with what he did. It was not clear who murdered the PoI's wife and I do not enjoy ambiguity. The psychologist tells his clients to let go and move on, but he was doing the opposite.
I enjoy seeing the flashbacks about Finch's life because they help to explain why he performs extraordinary acts.
I also enjoy seeing Reese try to open up to his psychologist. He was making progress but the current case dredged up painful memories that he does not want to talk about.

Very good episode. There are a lot of women coming into John's life. I thought the therapist liked him and now we know he likes her.
The scenes with Root and Harold were very interesting and I was not sure how they would handle that. I knew Root felt very strongly about Harold so killing someone to save Harold is not too surprising. It is unfortunate that she had to ruin the lady's reputation and that she and Harold need to separate, at least for a little while. But The Machine might find some work for them to do together.
John and those fighting women had some battles to wade through and that was fun to watch. The bounty hunter really liked John and kept making suggestive comments like if he was interested, she had her own handcuffs.

I enjoyed seeing Det. Carter, but the episode did not really hold my interest because there was not enough action. Last season, it seemed the "falling in love" was rushed between Reese and Carter. In addition to that, fans were angry that Carter was killed. The current episode shows them bonding in ways we had not seen before. I like Carter being Reese's spirit guide to help him stay alive.
I wonder if this means Reese will become more open to sharing his life with his friends.
I am glad Root returned and Harold is cordial to her again. I almost did not recognize Root in the bridal veil.

I liked the episode as well Anti, I wonder if they caught the guy in the cabin who shot Reese? That part was confusing. This is how I remember it: Reese was dying in the snow and trying to get to the gun strapped to his ankle. The man went back to the house to get a shovel, I think. We saw Carter encouraging Reese to save himself. Reese started dragging himself toward the car and it looked like a dead man inside the car. (I know that does not make sense because I did not see Reese kill the man.)

S4, Ep21 Asylum (28 Apr. 2015)

PoI is wrapping up the separate story lines. Harold and Root followed clues leading to the location of Shaw. They knew it was a trap and Root coerced The Machine into helping them anyway. The Machine has a heart and refuses to let his operatives die if it can prevent it. The “They stole your spacemen” was a funny scene. We saw Shaw but she was still in captivity.
Control continues to be ruthless in her pursuit to protect the country. Perhaps she should team up with Harold.
Once again, Reese and Fusco track down Elias in an attempt to save his life, but Elias does not want to be saved. Elias is my favorite villain and I did not like seeing him be tortured, but he was mentally prepared for it. Dominic should not have gloated over Anthony’s death because Elias was determined to get revenge even if he and our guys died as a result of it. Tricking Dominic into killing his own friend was justice.
Fusco was being tortured by having his head held under water and he quipped did they have a loofah so they could wash his back while they were at it. He is so funny. When it seemed they might actually drown him, Miss Floyd pulled a knife to intervene and told Fusco she got a text from Thornhill to save him. Who is Thornhill?
The Machine secured the release of Harold and Root by promising to give Samaritan its location. It will be interesting to see how our team can save Shaw and save The Machine from destruction.
I watched the ending several times to try to understand why it ended with Reese and Fusco still being held captive by Dominic while he tries to understand their symbiotic relation with Elias. I was amused when Dominic used the term "symbiotic" relationship. He thinks they are crooked cops working with Elias.
