I was hoping this would be over or at least the curse would give us something to look forward to in the spring.
I was so glad to see Anna back. But she never took off those wet clothes. It made Elsa so happy.
I seem to recall this debate on "Smallville". Wasn't Chloe willing to sacrifice herself for the good of the entire world? Or were they going to sacrifice Chloe?
I didn't want Anna to be lose either, but if it meant saving the town ...
Blackbeard was a real person. And I have heard Robin Hood was too. Only their accomplishments are exaggerated.

I watched this when it aired. I did not realize I had not posted comments until I read your post. I'll be back later.

It wasn't as bad as I thought but It was pretty bad at times.
I enjoyed the flashbacks with Emma and Ingrid until Ingrid told Emma about her powers. Sending her out in front of a car was just wrong. And it was no longer pleasant.
Anna and Kristoff provided comic relief. It was also funny when Regina made Kristoff disappear.
Snow and Charming arguing was also funny, at first.
But I'm glad everything turned out well. Finally. And now we have a new crisis.
I'm also glad to get back to a well-acted Hook.

Kyle, I agree with everything you said. I am going to miss the pretty ladies and I think they did a good job of making their story interesting.
I guess it was time for Mr. Gold to return to being truly evil. I am wondering if his comment that he will leave Storybrooke unharmed, but not the rest of the world, means Rumplestiltskin is exiting. I hope it does not mean that because I love seeing Rumple and Regina battle.

I don't want him to leave the show. I liked that he had become nice but he is more entertaining when he is evil.
I had forgotten how entertaining Regina was when she was truly evil.

That was hard to watch. But Mr. Gold in New York City could be interesting. And we now have three new villains, or at least they haven't done much so far.
After all that, I'm willing to wait.
I was so glad to see the "Frozen" girls get their happy ending but I'll miss them.

I watched the movie "Eragon" over the weekend. Robert Carlyle played a character similar to Rumplestiltskin who had magical powers and was evil, but he was even worse. Even though he was taking orders from a king. His objective was to stop Eragon, who had a dragon and was destined to save his people from that king.

"Heroes and Villains" closed out some story lines, but unfortunately, it was interrupted after Robin and Marian exited. I did not see what happened with Rumple and Belle.
When the episode finally came back on, Regina was morose and Emma suggested they have drinks.
Then I saw Rumple in New York and he looked unhappy. He visited Ursula at an aquarium and they are planning to visit "the author" after they visit the other queens of darkness. That should be interesting.

I watched the part I missed on-line. Poor Rumple...he really did love Belle and now he has a broken heart. He still has his power and he could flourish in New York as long as Belle ignores him. But he cannot let it go and the drama will continue.
Henry is an inquisitive boy and it certainly came in handy in finding the portal and the author's library.

I'm caught up. I hate that Regina and Robin are once again seperated!! grrr Didn't they do enough with that Marion storyline. I have a bad feeling that something is going to happen to make Regina turn dark again and hurt Marian to get her happy ending... but who knows with them so close to finding the author. I just hate how dragged out this thing with Marian is getting. I felt like I missed something with Elsa and Anna... did Rumple really just send them back home with no trouble ? Rumbelle..... I'm excited to see Pam from true blood as maleficent though!! Love Kristin Bauer

My favorite scenes in this episode were the ones that involved Mr. Gold and Ursula, Cruella, and Maleficent. I think it is very interesting that so many of the villains want to have their happy ending. That is something I never considered before OUAT. I am glad that Regina is trusted by some of the others now.
Icy rain has been falling all day and the satellite HD channels were on the blink which means a blank screen was "recorded". I did not see how that huge bat demon was captured in the box, but maybe that was not shown anyway. That is a scary looking creature.
It seemed that Belle did not get the dagger back from Regina.
I think this going to be an exciting season.

The behind the scenes special was great. I don't know why they took so long to tell us all this stuff.
The clock tower is not real, which makes sense because they keep destroying it.
I found it really confusing that Gold and the other villains couldn't enter Storybrooke. They have to get most of their food and pretty much everything that's not made there from somewhere. People have to be able to get in.
Also, Gold always walked with a cane before he entered Storybrooke this time. Then he threw the cane away. Why? Now he seemed to not be able to walk without it when the other villains were taunting him.
I don't recall exactly how they captured the bat demon.

I thought the special was excellent.
I do not understand why Gold threw the cane away either. I thought he needed it.
I did suspect that Gold was the one who responded to the internet inquiry. He must have captured the bat (during events that we did not see) and added words to the spell so that it would be released along with the fairies.

Nothing about this week?
Ursula was on "Backstrom" as an environmentalist. According to Backstrom, female environmentalists are all lesbians. She was not a lesbian. And she had black hair.
We certainly are learning more about Snow and Charming. We tend to think we've seen it all, and now we learn they've met those villains before.

"Unforgiven" revealed some things I did not know and some I might have forgotten.
I recall Emma slaying the dragon but I did not realize the dragon was Maleficent. However, since I was not familiar with the name "Maleficent" at that time, I would not have realized the significance anyway.
It seems they are leading to Emma becoming dark. They said in the previous episode that the bat creature was after the one who had the greatest potential for darkness and he was after Emma rather than Regina. I know they are talking about potential, but it would be a nice twist.
Gee...how long was Gold gone? His wife has already started a relationship with Knave. Who has the Dark One's blade - Regina or Belle?
If Hook once had a relationship with Ursula, it obviously happened long before he met Emma.
Regina does evil so well that I am looking forward to seeing her revert to that role.

I don't want Emma to go dark.
Regina does dark really well, but I'm happier when she's not. If I didn't say it already, Lana has such a sweet voice and personality.
I guess we'll learn about Hook and Ursula. They always manage to come up with something for us to watch.

I enjoyed the flashbacks of Maleficent and Regina. I had to switch channels near the end of the episode so I do not know what broke up their friendship.
Maybe it is just the way I view things, but they make our characters do really stupid things. Regina went undercover to fool three powerful sorceresses and Emma kept popping in to chat with her. When Regina was kidnapping Pinocchio, Maleficent was outside the house and Emma talked about the plan. I think they are insulting our intelligence when they insert scenes like that.
Other than that, I enjoyed the episode. I saw that Belle still had Rumple's blade. When I switched channels, she was getting ready to give it to Hook. I hope that was not a trick. I need to watch the rest of the episode and return with more comments.

I can say that Hook was Gold and he did get the blade, and Belle gave away her secret not knowing who she was really talking to. Hook sounded amazingly like Gold, and that was before I found out he really was Gold.
I know Maleficent turned into a dragon but that's about all I remember.
Emma has such beautiful hair.

Thanks. I watched the end of the episode. After Maleficent turned into a dragon, we did not see her again, but we saw Regina talking to Rumple in the stable. I guess we will learn later why Regina turned against Maleficent. I still enjoy the Rumplestiltskin character with his weird giggle and "deary".
Regina's mother impersonated members of Storybrooke awhile ago and I remembered that so I was not surprised Gold was impersonating Hook.
The big surprise for me is that August is back.

Young Ursula had a beautiful voice. Hook did the right thing until it just became too much for him.
That's interesting how they made it so complicated for Ursula to get her voice back.
I wondered why August's nose didn't grow when he didn't seem to be telling the truth.
That is just weird that the door is only an illustration. My first thought was that it was the door from Kanve's other series.

Wow. Col. Henry Blake on "MASH" read the directions for defusing a land mine. Radar was trapped when Henry said, "But first". Wait. Shouldn't that have been first?
Or am I thinking about the time Henry realized Radar, thinking he was safe, was in downtown Berlin. BERLIN?
Tell them you have to send the baby to another dimension before you transfer evil into the child. No wonder Maleficent was so upset.
Like Tim Allen in "The Santa Clause", we now know the job changes from one person to another. And what was he doing to make him get trapped in the book?
Gold isn't as evil as he made us think he was. But it's Belle who doesn't care and if she had been awake she wouldn't have been listening.
That was a neat solution they had to the problem of the actual page needing to be kept out of Gold's hands. But Gold is too smart for them.

It appears Snow White has never been as pure or heroic as I thought she was. Sending Emma’s darkness into another offspring was really selfish, but I think Emma will forgive her parents. It is interesting that dragon eggs are usually depicted as colorful. I would not have thought fire would harm Maleficent’s egg.
August told them the author who was trapped in the book was put there because he was doing the wrong thing. It does not make sense that they released him without having a way to restrain him.
I am glad Gold does not want to hurt Regina even though he does not trust her.
