Poor Emma. I'm worried this is going to cause problems.
Interesting that Robin Hood went to Oz and, oh, look, it's Knave. And he's not going to share.
Anyone notice the Omaha Circus poster? Even though Zelena was there, that must have been the Wizard's castle.
I forgot there for a minute that Gold on his death bed was merely a flashback. I seriously thought we might lose him. But Zelena was so cruel. I'm happy she did what she did and we have him back.
Oops. Serena was the evil witch on "Bewitched". Wikipedia is your friend.

I watched the last two episodes and they were both very good. They do an excellent job of showing how the characters crossed paths previously.
Robert Carlyle is an excellent actor and he is awesome as Rumplestiltskin and as Mr. Gold. He has been suffering emotional pain since before he became the dark one. He is devious, but I am not certain he is as dark as he once was. I liked the flashback scene where he advised Knave to choose love if he has a choice. I was concerned when he went into cardiac arrest.
Regina is my next favorite character. She has been resentful, vengeful and downright hateful at certain times, but I always viewed her as a sympathetic character. She lost her true love because of a broken promise and her luck has always been bad. I have enjoyed her transformation from evil queen to devoted mother. Now that she knows Zelena was pretending to be Mariam, perhaps Regina can reclaim her love and be one step closer to a happy ending.
Emma is the character I have the most difficulty sympathizing with. She seemed to be good, but she has never been tolerant or forgiving. I think she would have gone dark long ago if her parents had not guided her to resist temptation. Now she is being very harsh with them although they have admitted they were wrong.
The flashbacks with Cruella and the writer were good. Young Cruella fooled me too. Now we see how her hair became the interesting color that it is. The writer was clever when he wrote the sentence that protects people from Cruella. I am not sure I understand the conversation Cruella had with the other witch about the dragon egg.
I thought Belle had become cruel until Regina approached Mr. Gold and I am glad Belle will not remember acting that way.

Because of "A.D." and the ACM awards, I haven't had time yet. I was up until almost midnight watching that part of the awards show which was worth seeing.
And the jerk who thinks interrupting programming is all right for a situation that only affects a few people probably got to this episode like "Funniest Home Videos" before it, so I may have to watch a few minutes online when the episode is avialble next week. In the old days when I watched everything live, I could have gone to the other station that never pre-empts anything, though I got "No signal" when I tried that station last week. My efforts to improve another station's signal might have worked for that station, but it used to be perfect when the antenna was where I had it before.

I have to comment on two episodes since I forgot last week that I had not seen it by the time I came here.
First, the April 19 episode.
I haven't seen the online version yet but I hope to on Thursday. There was only one interruption at the bieginning and that surely was mostly "Previously". By the time they joined the episode in progress Lana Parilla's name was on the screen. I don't remember who gets top billing but I surely missed something.
That was such a cute little girl and it's terrible how she was treated. No wonder she ended up so mean.
But when she grew up, I really liked her scenes with that newspaper reporter. She seemed so nice. And I really liked that music.
And then she turned out to be meaner than any other villain this show has ever had.
Accident or not, she deserved what she got. All the other versions have been delightfully evil. This woman was just evil.
And now for last night.
What was the deal with all those pipes? They even used them. They sat on one. It's almost like that near where I live, though there's no one big open field like that. They're just scattered all along the road. One city ahs plenty of water and the other has problems when there's a drought, so the one city is sharing its water with the other. It's a nightmare and I keep being stopped by construction. It's a mess everywhere.
Last night was much easier to take but that waitress ended up being almost as evil as the other villains. And no wonder. The mystery man who I think showed up in "A.D." too told her everything, and eventually she believed it.
I'm glad Regina was able to talk Emma out of killing her.
And oh, good, Robin knows and now his "wife" is pregnant. Everyone is pregnant these days. I liked the flashbacks but it's a shame how Emma got treated. Her friend seemed so nice but obviously she was cursed and couldn't get anything right in her life. It's a shame because she seemed to have a good life. Emma did too.

I enjoy seeing Regina’s flashbacks. She was really mean to the couple who wanted to get married, but then we saw how vulnerable she was when she thought she would meet the man she could love. Robin Hood and Regina are having a difficult time being together. I am a little surprised he did not insist on the mother of his child remaining free. The Sheriff of Nottingham looked more handsome than he usually does. Regina was clever and realized she could use the dark magic in Lily’s blood.
Mr. Gold is terribly ill and he said he could die although The Dark One cannot. I wonder if it will be released in Storybrook one day. Knave should not be too cocky because Rumple usually finds a way out of a dilemma.
Lily is mean to everyone. I just saw her as a dragon, but I need to switch to A.D. and will return later.

Every episode of OUAT has a stupid moment - a really stupid moment. When Lily the dragon was out of control and spewing fire, Snow rushed forward in the line of fire. There was no reason for her to do that. She could not control the dragon and the dragon wanted her dead.
The syrupy scene with Emma following the stupid dragon scene was almost as bad, but I am glad Emma will stop treating Snow badly.
The Author is an interesting character. I wonder if he is siding with Rumple because he feels as if he falls into the villain category. It looks like the Author and Rumple are writing a very exciting story for the two-hour season finale. I am looking forward to that.

I don't understand how Lily changed into the dragon. Did I miss something? The TiVo I use to record that show has a glitch and with some shows, it's easy to fast-forward too much.
Regina was mean to that couple? Didn't she actually KILL the man? That's beyond mean.
I was happy to see Maleficent and her daughter reunited. And Emma is finally being nice to Snow again which makes me happy.
I'm glad Zelena is under control. I never realized how pretty she is.
I do want to see Gold survive. And Regina and Robin together.
I watched "Shrek the Third". Snow is so much prettier there but she's conceited.

When Regina cut Lily's hands, her eyes turned yellow. *cut to commercial* When the commercials ended, Lily had already morphed into a dragon and we never saw the actual transformation.
Yep, "death" trumps "mean", but Regina could have done worst than kill him.
I am glad both sets of mother & daughter have reunited and will work together.
It has been too many years since I watched the Shrek movies for me to compare the characters.

4.22 Operation Mongoose (5-10-15)
The Author aligns with Gold, while Emma, her parents, Hook and Regina try to stop them.

It was interesting to see a parallel universe, but I sure was glad when it was over. I liked seeing Rumplestiltskin as a hero, but everything came at a price.
It's curious how Henry even existed in that parallel universe. But his story was very interesting and they really gave The Author a worthwhile story.
I thought Snow was getting her wish, but it was not a happy ending because as queen she was miserable. And all the dwarfs were mean. I got worried Doc wouldn't come back, and they made us wait on Hook. Eventually, all was well.
Regina didn't get her happy ending either. I thought all the villains were supposed to.
So this season's cliffhanger is The Dark One escaping and being on the loose. But I really didn't want Gold to die. Or that man with the beard who was straight out of A.D. I can't even remember if he survived.

I have watched one hour of it and the only things I liked were Rumple being a knight in shining armor and the Author.

I watched the second hour of the finale. Regina looked beautiful when she was lying on the ground after Rumple cut her with a blade. She has beautiful hair and it surrounded her lovely face. When this show started, Regina quickly became one of my favorites, but I never would have guessed she would become one of the heroes. Now the Darkness has kidnapped her and I want to see if she will be like Rumple or will she become a slave to the Darkness. The blade dropped to the ground and was left behind so I am wondering about the significance of that.
It seemed like the natural choice for the Darkness would have been Lily because she has darkness in her.
For a moment, I thought they were going to let Rumple die. I am glad he is still with us and maybe one day he and Belle will be reunited.
Is Henry still the author, but without a pen? Will another author be assigned? I do not really understand why the apprentice had to die.
Merlin! I enjoyed the series with Merlin and young Authur, but I do not want, nor do I think, OUAT Merlin to be comedic.
I was extremely surprised that the evil released in this finale is the same as the evil released in this year's season finale of Supernatural. I do not think there will be a cross-over though.
