After a massively satisfying season premiere, it's episode 2 of TWD's 5th season. What do they run into? Will all of our slightly larger group survive? Watch, rate and discuss.

It seems the clergy must be flawed in someway.
Is Rick leaving his children behind while he travels to Washington?

Pretty sure I am done with this show after the ending of this epi.
Don't need this type of thing in my life.
Best of luck.

Why was Bob acting so weird before he was kidnapped? Did I miss something or do you think he got scratched in the zombie fight and was going to off himself?

Best of luck. I have been struggling with the story line and hoped that last week's episode would be the finish to that stuff. I was impressed with Carl in this episode. He was the first one to react positively to the pastor's screams for help. He listened to Rick with respect when Rick stressed the importance of Carl being alert and not letting his guard down. Carl acted very mature when he showed his father the markings and message on the church outer walls. The walkers in the flooded basement were scary and totally messed up. Judith and Rick surprised me that they were moved by the go-to-Washington pep talk, but okay...let's go. I did not like the ending to the episode.

I think I'm in agreement with everyone else. I give the episode a 3. Both Carol and Bob were acting weird. Bob after the food pantry raid, where like the rest of you, I think he got infected by a walker and left to kill himself. And Carol seemed itchy the whole episode. Do you think she can't take the fact that she had to kill Lizzie? I think if Darryl hadn't found her out by that car, she would have driven off alone. Like she told Rick, she found out after he banished her that she could take care of herself. The Reverend creeps me out. I'm betting he locked everyone out of his church and they were killed off by walkers while he survived. But that still doesn't account for the fact that he's so clean and shiny. His clothes look brand new and he's certainly taking the time to shave his lovely facial hair. I think Rick was right to warn him that if he did anything to endanger the group, Rick would kill him. That Gareth is scary. As are the rest of his group. I can't quite figure out how they managed to track the group, but cutting Bob's leg off and cooking it and eating it in front of him? Triple yikes. They're worse than the walkers. If Bob had been infected, how would that affect the people who eat him. Will Bob be our next one-legged member of the group? Or have we seen almost the last of him. The group in the church better enjoy their little rest for now, I don't think it will last long.

I was pleased to see Carol and Daryl walking together to get supplies because I thought it would make their relationship closer. Tyreese urged Carol to not tell anyone what happened at the cabin and she used Tyreese's words when she refused to talk about it to Daryl. Then, like SoCal said, Carol acted strangely. Now Carol and Daryl are chasing the car that took Beth and the group has no idea where they have gone. Gareth seems cold-blooded. The Governor was off balance but he was not as horrifying as Gareth. I finally started to trust Bob as a valuable member of the group and now look what happened.

Anti, I was wondering if the way Tyreese told Carol he wouldn't tell anyone else what happened made Carol feel more guilty? Tyreese seems terribly affected by what happened at that little house he, Carol and the girls shared. And I just found it a little unsettling to see the way he and Carol spoke. He seemed so happy to see the group but I think some after effects are lingering.
Also, I see that Bob makes it into next week's episode still alive though minus a limb.

I need to watch the previews for next week. I hope those people get ill from eating Bob-B-Q if Bob was infected. Carol did seem really depressed but she did so much good and no one could have prevented the fratricide. Maybe joining Daryl on his quest to recover Beth will shake Carol out of her depression. Tyreese is going to be Judith's nanny.

Yeah don't like the priest at all. He's definitely hiding something. There's no way you survive in a their world without having been through some shit, or at least killed a walker. LIES HE TOLD.
How long had Carol been on her own? IDK it seems to me like she just wants to be on her own again. I don't get it. But like socal said could be her guilt over the lizzie/mika situation.
The episode was crazy but I'm shocked that so many people are saying they want to quit watching after this. (Kathy too, Greg.) A lot of fucked up stuff has happened on this show.

Looking at a sneak peek for the next episode, it looks like Bob survives until at least then.
