I saw the finale and I agree that the finale is a satisfactory ending rather than a cliff hanger.
When it comes to killing and horrible scenes, I would put this show on par with The Walking Dead. I expected a zombie show to have horrific scenes, but I did not expect that from this series when I started watching it.
They have great characters and they did an excellent job of examining how far individuals will go to save their people. I feel most sorry for Jasper because he was so sweet and innocent when it started, but he has suffered horribly from the very start.
There was no happily ever after. The closest to that, in my opinion, is Octavia and Lincoln are together and Raven has formed a bond with the technical specialist.
The survival of Murphy and Thelonius took different turns. Was that a Pop Tart Murphy ate in the lighthouse? I think Murphy will be more comfortable living alone than Thelonius will be with his situation. Did Thelonius remind you of anyone while he was walking over the sands with a staff?

I missed this last post.
I forgot to mention that in Mount Weather they had those comforting lamps in that room where the people were just before they were killed.
