I was reading today (as we observe the 150th anniversary of the events) that several buildings in the town where the pilot was filmed were not destroyed by General Stoneman, who was kinder than General Sherman. So the town still has some historic buildings from before The Civil War.

Included was one building possibly used in the pilot. I know the property was used for a cemetery scene, but it was dark and I don't even remember if the building was shown.

I don't think this is the building that dates back to the Civil War, but the exterior may have appeared in the pilot.
