Grimm continues to be a very entertaining show with diverse characters. There is an understanding that being a different species should not be an automatic death sentence. The Grimms (we have met 3) and some of the "monsters" work together to battle the vicious killers.
I enjoy the addition of family members to the show. We have met Captain Renard's mother who looks young and beautiful. He introduced her as "having had some work done" on her face, but she has witch powers like Adalind.
T. Reubel, aka Truebel is a very young Grimm who learned about her abilities without any help from anyone, which was extremely frightening. She is a tough girl and an awesome fighter. I would put my money on her against most Wesen. Nick is trying to help her to understand what happened to her.
Adalind's powerful baby is with Nick's mother, and Nick and the Captain might be the only ones who know that.
Adalind has been trapped in a prison by the Royals who tricked her into removing Nick's Grimm abilities. She did some dastardly deeds to accomplish her goals so I am not feeling sorry for her.
They still have not told Sgt. Wu that he did not imagine the monster, which I think is unfair to him.
Anything else? Oh yes, Rosalee and Monroe are married, but the wedding ceremony was full of drama.

4.04 Dyin' on a Prayer - Nick and Hank investigate an unusual crime scene; Wu becomes more suspicious of Trubel's presence.
“Grimm” did an excellent job of manifesting a golem. That monster would wrap its arms around the person who threatened a boy and fill the person’s body with clay. That’s a horrible way to die.
Captain Renard’s mother worked with Rosalee and Monroe to find a way to reverse the spell that erased Nick’s ability as a Grimm. The downside is Juliette is an important ingredient, but I do not know yet what they need to do to her.
Adalind is going through some nightmarish drama in the castle. I did not enjoy those scenes.
I really like Captain Renard and I am happy to see him return to work even though Sgt. Wu told him that Truebel is a suspect in a double homicide.

"Wesenrein" led to "The Tribunal". The Tribunal was the most exciting episode of this season. It was so darn thrilling I watched it twice. Everyone had to get into action to save Monroe from the Tribunal. Nick was so upset and frustrated, he removed his detective shield and said it was getting in the way of the rescue. Rosalee threatened death to anyone who hurt Monroe. Sgt. Wu was given a fast-track lesson in understanding how wessen woge. That was fun to watch. Juliette joined the hunt and turned into a monster when she needed to. Nick's partner has always been bad-ass so there was no question he would be front and center. Ah...but what made my heart sing was the Captain led his team to the rescue. They looked dynamic.
I am so darn happy that Wu has finally been let in on the secrets. I have always liked him and admired the way he works. He also lends some humor, especially with his expressions and mannerisms.
