This was a serious episode, but I enjoyed it when Ichabod was excited as he pointed to the motor bike and said “I want one of these.”
When they connected the points for the places Moloch had visited, I knew it would form a pentagram.
Ichabod saved Katrina from the binding ritual and captured The Headless Horseman. According to Katrina, the Sword of Methuselah, as with all magic, comes with a price…takes the life of whoever kills with it. Katrina keeps coming up with many reasons to save Abraham and Henry. I anticipated trouble when Ichabod heard Katrina tell Abraham she cares for him.
I am happy that our whole team was present to fight in the war. Jenny’s help was essential to get information and to help with the arsenal. Katrina’s magic was weakened, but she also helped with information about the sword.
Captain Frank took a hero’s journey and made it entertaining with his fancy handwork with the sword. I had not anticipated his role in the fight and was pleased that he helped the Witnesses. I liked the special effects for the destruction of War’s armor.
Hailing blood convinced Hawley the end is nigh and no long zero for ten thousand. He provided an arsenal and agreed to do something as dangerously suicidal as babysitting the headless one.
I like the way Henry used the Bible story to explain his rationale when he made his final decision. When Moloch told Henry to get the sword, I kept wavering between Henry will help his parents and Henry would not help his parents. I think Henry would have obeyed Moloch if Moloch had not been so callous at the end.
I wonder what will happen in January.

Oh, wait, I haven't seen it yet. You are missing an excellent episode. Don't read my episode comments until you watch.

When I see the promos for "Turn: Washington's Spies", the spy looks like the Headless Horseman and I heard someone call him Abraham. An unlikely coincidence.

I saw "This was a serious episode" and thought I wouldn't like it. But yes, Crane and a motorcycle made it worthwhile. Of course I don't like the violence or the weird stuff, but I find I have to watch to see what's going on.
What God would tell a man to sacrifice his son? I was surprised no one said a God who would sacrifice his own son.
I saw the rest of last week's online and don't really know what I missed. I had no sound and had to depend on closed captioning. Then the video froze when the commercial came on. There was so little left I'm sure all I missed were the credits, but I tried again. This time I saw it with sound and it was so much better. I even saw some details I may have missed on my own TV with the superior sound quality.
