After last week's intense episode with Dean and Sam trying to figure out how to deal with the MoC, this week we find that Charley is back from OZ. Why is she here? Why is she such a badass with Dean and Sam? Watch, rate and discuss here.

If she hurt Dean's pretty face, she is in big trouble.

Choking Dean was surprising enough, punching him earned her a time-out, but kicking him in the face was way over the top. Aww, did Dean call for his baby brother after he was kicked? I am going to watch it again. C'mon Tuesday!

If I wasn't at work, I would be doing the same thing! I wonder what happened in OZ to make Charly such a di**wad? Why is she so mad at Sam? Interesting that she called him the "albatross around" Dean's neck!?! I can'tbelieve I'm actually looking forward to an episode with Charley in it.

This is definitely a different Charley and she seems to think Dean would be like her if Sam was not around. I don't think everyone (males and females) will have the hots for this Charley.

I've never really cared for the Charley character. But if the character comes back from OZ as a serious hunter......a help to Dean and Sam rather than an obstacle, I may change my mind. We'll have to see. So far I don't like her baiting Sam and kicking Dean (the guy who helped bring her back to life, remember).

If that b***h Charlie hurts Sam or Dean one more time, I hope they make her go away! Poor Dean you just want to hug him.

I enjoyed the story even though they seemed to have changed the Wizard's story line. It seems Charlie was truly bad-ass in Oz and won the war single-handed. Poor Dean was trying so hard to keep body and soul clean so that the mark would not have anything to feed off of. I am not convinced he had to resort to those nutrition drinks though and his system probably went into cheeseburger withdrawal. Holy crap! When Dean picked up the hunting knife, it seemed the mark wanted to take over. Then when he let himself fight Charlie, he had trouble stopping. Yes, he needs help quickly. Are we sure Sam is physically okay? He does not seem to be doing anything physical. Just wondering. But he is sticking with Dean in spite of the danger and I like him calling Castiel to give him a status update and to ask him to either find Cain or find some other means to help Dean. I am just going to ignore all the damage Charlie left behind and pretend there is no APB out on her.

Okay...I never saw the episode where Charlie went to Oz, but...WHAT MORON decided to include the Wizard of Oz premise in this show??!! I liked looking at Jared and Jensen....and the car...but I couldn't get past this crappy story. It annoyed me that the writers even pulled this shit in the first place! Did anyone notice that the actor who played Clive Dillon was also the Norse god in Hammer of the Gods? EITHER WAY, THIS EPISODE SUCKED ASS! STUPID FUCKING WIZARD OF OZ BULLSHIT. KILL THE WRITERS!! However, watching Dean beat down evil Charlie was...kinda hot. Yes Dean, I like it rough!!!

I enjoyed the episode, especially the way Dark Charlie and MoC Dean's story were somewhat intertwined. I like Dark Charlie better than regular Charlie. Is that wrong?
Dean really is struggling to keep the MoC from taking over, but it seems as soon as he starts pounding on people, he loses control.
The OZ storyline had me a little confused. Wouldn't the MoL's members have known about the splitting of personalities in OZ? And how did the Dark Wizard keep Dorothy from battling against him? Charlie made it sound as though she was working with him. I wonder if we've seen the last of OZ?
I thought the part where Dean let Dark Charlie go in to see her parents killer alone was a bit weak. Surely MoC Dean would have known she would lie to get to him. And you'd think Dean wouldn't trust her after she let the air out of Baby's tire!
How does regular Charlie escape the police after killing her parents killer?
I did like how the episode ended with Dean and Sam standing together and vowing to stick together. I think Sam is really worried, though, about the continued effect of the MoC on Dean.
One confusing thing, though. Last season, we saw that when Dean was prevented from killing, he got violently sick. Crowley told him that was the effect of the MoC. The more he killed the better he felt, the less he killed, the less well he would feel. What happened to that? I don't think kale sandwiches and egg white omelets will fix that.
All in all, a fun episode.

SoCal wrote: I wondered about that too and I don't think relieving him of being a demon changed that. He must be a master of control...as long as he does not start to fight. Maybe Sam should get back in the game and do the fighting instead of Dean.

I may not agree that it was the best thing about the episode, but I was sure glad she wasn't in it.

I thought it was an ok episode, it was kind of mixed for me. What didn't work for me , is the constant dumbing down of the guys every time Charlie is around, it was better this time around, but still these guys have been hunting long time, they wouldn't have lasted so long if they didn't know a thing or two. ( and kept coming back from the dead ) I also didn't care much for Amazon dark Charlie, I wasn't happy with how she treated the guys and how she beat Dean up more than some guys have (Seriously?) I also had a hard time Dean believing dark Charlie only wanted to talk, come on Dean , you did the same thing yourself at the end of S9 with Gadreel, and yet you fell for that.. I was ok with regular Charlie, but a little of her goes a long way with me. I did enjoy her at the end when she forgave Dean and was willing to go in search of something to help him. I loved how close Sam and Dean were this episode, I loved how Sam stood up for and was trying to protect Dean and is continuing to look for something to cure Dean. I enjoy the bond the brothers have right now and wish we could see more of this part of the relationship. I think the last few episodes I love Sam for the way he stands up for Dean, it is a welcome change from last year's contrived drama between the guys. I also loved the way he went to take care of Charlie and how he was so worried for her, it was nice to see and it was hard to watch Dean's guilt, shame, and horror at what he had done to Charlie. It was nice to see Sam, Dean, and Charlie in the bunker doing research, and a little funny to see Dean trying to eat better and not drink. I think Dean is really worried about what is happening to him, and he is trying to either come to terms with what he has done, or he is thinking of what he needs to do to take care of this problem. Let me absolutely shallow here, Jensen and Jared get better looking as they get older, I think I like Jared more now that he has lost some of the bulk.
