After last week's sad beginning to the spring season, I for one, hope this episode has more going for it. Sasha and Michonne have a deep conversation. I hope Sasha isn't going to do something stupid. What about the others? Where are they going? Watch, rate and discuss here.

I enjoyed the episode very much even though it was dark. The entire group is suffering physically and emotionally. They need food and water and must stay on the move even though they need to take time to grieve and comfort each other.
Maggie and Daryl are grieving for Beth. Neither one wanted to give in to their grief or accept comfort from others. Daryl crying – what can I say?
Sasha’s anger and grief is making her reckless. She endangered the group when she deviated from the plan to get rid of the walkers.
When Gabriel offered solace, Maggie said to him what a lot of us have been saying. He was supposed to lead his people, but he hid, and people are not going to forget that. I think that is when Gabriel accepted that life has changed and there would be no divine intervention. Then the rain came soon after he burned his collar and he apologized to God.
Rick: “We tell ourselves we are the walking dead. That is how we survive.” That was an interesting story.
Daryl is very handy to have around and he cleaned the gears on the music box.
Um…they were struggling to keep the barn door closed and then they were sleeping peacefully. Did the storm destroy the walkers for them? Is there divine intervention after all?
Stranger danger. Aaron is too clean cut and how did he know Rick’s name.

I think we have talked before about the survivors actually being the walking dead, not the zombies. It was good to hear Rick finally explain it.
I think Aaron can be trusted. His group, possibly The Alexandria Safe Zone, must have been watching them. That is how they know Rick's name. After they determined that they were decent people, they left the water and, quite possibly, sent the dogs as food.
We see that the group is at their lowest. They are going to need some trustworthy allies ... especially if Negan is due as the next adversary.

This episode started off so damn depressing I'm glad it didn't end in the same fashion. That time in the barn and the rain was epic. Why do they keep showing Abraham drinking ? Like it's all we saw throughout this episode. Him taking a swig of whatever that was. I'm glad Daryl still has Carol They're too adorable

I'm glad Daryl still has Carol They're too adorable I think Abraham is trying to ease the pain of disappointment and hopes the alcohol will numb his brain. He wanted to die and Eugene showed up just in time to give him a reason to live. Now Abraham needs another reason to live and I hope he remains strong for the sake of the group. If I was in a jam, I would want Abraham at my back - even with the alcohol. I agree Carol and Daryl are adorable and I am glad she is too strong to let him push her away. I thought he would pull away when she leaned in, but he let her kiss him. That was sweet.

as for the barn part maybe walkers got scared or they killed them and not showed it or could of been a dream.

I wondered if it was a dream until I saw the walkers trapped in and under the tree branches. They did not explain that very well or the editing made it confusing. I need to look at that scene carefully to see if maybe I missed a relevant comment or something else.

I watched those scenes again and it remains a mystery. When they viewed the walkers outside the barn, Sasha said “Should have torn us apart.” Maggie responded “It didn’t.” That makes me think it was supposed to be a mystery. The music box would not play until Aaron said “I have good news.” That is a sign…of something. More observations. Noah kept himself separate from the group with his back turned while they were eating. I wonder if he feels guilty for Tyreese’s death and no longer feels he should be part of the group or even alive. When Abraham offered Sasha the whiskey, she said that would make things worse. Abraham responded the way she was going, Sasha would make things worse and they are her friends. She acidly responded they are not friends. This larger group is not cohesive the way the core group was. Daryl burning himself with the lit cigarette was painful to watch. I prefer the tears.

For as slow moving as this episode was, I enjoyed it. Seeing the group in dire need of food and water has been a rarity in the series so far and this was interesting to watch.
I still don't understand why Rick wouldn't let the group drink the water "from a friend." I guess he thought the friend my turn out like the people in Terminus.
I liked the interaction between Carol and Darryl. She is so comforting to him and she's been through her own kind of hell. I wonder if she'll ever open up to Darryl about it.
Rev. Gabriel had some never trying to get Maggie to listen to him! Good for her for reminding him how he had let his flock down.
Sasha worries me. She's lost Bob and now her brother. Will she lose it completely? Does she blame Noah for Tyreese's loss? Noah has no one in the group to latch onto now that Beth is gone. Maybe Darryl, but he's torn up over Beth's loss, so Noah can't rely on that.
Abraham and his group seem a little, what shall I say....not really part of the group either.
Who is this Arron? He's way too clean and healthy looking. Where did he come from? There must be some kind of group close by for him to have come from, otherwise he would be dirtier and hungry.
Guess we'll have to wait until next week.

I am hoping Rick gets a trim soon because he looks really scruffy. My favorite cat named "Scruffy" looked much neater than Rick. The people who looked clean when our team met them - the Governor, Terminus leaders - were dangerous and a little psychotic.

Yes, indeed, AA, Rick looks extremely scruffy. Rick's beard reminds me of Sam's sideburns. They're going to take over his face! Maybe Abraham's female barber can give Rick a shave.

Just noticed I messed up the episode number. It should have been 5.10. Oops, I blame my extreme exhaustion from working so much last week. This week as well, but I think I was more careful.

We will not run into any more people from Terminus so I guess it is time to change the tag for TWD. Maybe Aaron will utter some clever philosophy.
