I enjoyed watching Dean and Sam riding together and working the case together. They both have good theories and most of the time one of them is correct. Dean thought the ghost was attached to the journal and wanted Sam to burn it, but Sam decided to read the journal to see if it contained pertinent information. Sam was right and he saved Dean from being stabbed. I was amused that Sam could not get Dean to actually say the words “thank you” for saving his life.
I like flirtatious Dean and love to see his cheesy grin when he thinks a woman likes him. He needs to enjoy life a little in spite of the blade suspended above his head. His younger brother is worrying enough for the two of them and will find a way save him, hopefully before S11.
Our clever fans guessed that witchcraft might play a role in helping Dean get rid of the MoC and I think that is where Rowena will be useful. Crowley was so sick of her badgering he brought the other witch to her and Rowena exacted revenge on her. She is very spiteful.
I was happy to hear Crowley state that he would not kill the Winchesters. We knew they were special to him.

It was pretty good for a semi-stand alone episode. The only thing I didn't get was why the ghost disguised herself as a nun. She wasn't appearing before anyone except the sister so why was she in a disguise? I loved seeing Dean in the Confessional. He couldn't bring himself to say, "Bless me Father, for I have sinned...." but he did admit he believed in "a God," even though he wasn't sure God cared. And once again he says that he doesn't want to die.....yet. So no matter what Cain told him, Dean wants to go on "saving people, hunting things, the family business." It seemed the men and women the ghost was killing were cheating on their spouses. Would she really have been burned to death in the 1600's for killing that artist? Did they say she was accused of witchery? Speaking of witchery, we had to deal with more Rowena this week. Blech  . But at least the leader of the coven spilled that all the withches secrets had been appropriated and hidden in various sites by the MoL. She even knew that Dean and Sam were members! Wouldn't they have known that a long time ago? Good for Sam for not listening to Dean about burning the journal. Why was he driving at the end of the episode? Why did Dean look so downcast? Sam is determined that there is some way out of the MoC for Dean and he is determined they will find a way. Looks like more MoC drame next week. And Bobby is back! And he looks like he's in charge of a heavenly host. |

FAIR WARNING- I didn't like it, so read the following at your own risk. I couldn't rate this one, because we don't have the option of 0.5. Hi Anti and SoCal ![]() I am happy you guys liked it. I think this was a filler that is just supposed to tide us over till we get towards the end of the season. Was SPN on last night? are we sure? Cause what I thought I saw looked like a soap opera, or maybe Bloodlines 2.0, I wasn't sure what to think about what I saw. I made myself watch it twice but I can't do it again, I thought it was really, really bad. I thought the two actresses in it were bad, they seemed to have trouble getting out the lines. I feel sorry for the Sam girls, poor Sammy barely had any lines in this one, and I felt Dean was kind of mean and dismissive of Sam when he was around. Thank goodness Sam didn't listen to Dean when he told him to burn the journal, and it wouldn't have hurt Dean to say Thank you to Sam. I wonder what is going thru Dean's head, I can't figure out if he is trying to die or if he is just resigned to his fate, or if his confession of wanting to not die, is telling us that he may actually fight against the MOC. The only two moments that made it a little better was Dean's confessional moment and at the end with Sam and Dean in the car. I hope next week is much better. PLEASE KILL ROWENA NEXT WEEK. |

And that accent was so fucking annoying. These last two episodes have been terrible. WHERE'S CAS Where did they find those HORRIBLE actresses who played the nuns? And yeah, those ACCENTS!! Annoying as fuck. Not to mention that the guy who played the artist looked like a male prostitute. Or a gay vampire. The nun went ON AND ON about how she loved him...etc etc etc. That story lost me and THE NUNS FROM PLANET WHORE were worse than almost anything I've seen on SPN in awhile...last annoying guest star...that girl from Clap Your Hands if You Believe...they took her boyfriend Patrick. And I only remember his name becaise she said it about nine times! If you watch the commentary from that episode, Ben Edlund, Bob Singer, and Sera Gamble even made it a running joke. THEY TOOK PATRICK!!!!  Edit: On second thought, Claire was way more annoying than PATRICK'S girlfriend. |

I agree about Claire. I think I tuned the nuns out because I don't even remember what they were talking about or how they sounded.
