Hmmm, "The Inside Man." Could that be a reference to Bobby? Metatron? Surely not Crowley. Sam seems to think Dean is getting progressively worse, while it looks like Dean is putting on the "I'm good" routine. Is Dean falling deeper under the spell of the MoC? Can Sam and Castiel find the cure? Watch, rate and discuss.

"Drunk baby". Dean looks really hot in that red shirt. Is he going to be a little devilish? I saw that addition to the poll ratings. Someone does not have confidence this will be the best episode of the season.

You silly admin! I just wanted to liven up the polls. I'm tired of typing the same thing over and over again. I'm hoping for good things from the episode. So, there!

If only we would have had that option for the last episode. I think the next one will be better, the bad writers didn't write this one. I like how Sam is finding an excuse to leave Dean behind, these guys sometimes spend too much time together. Though I would like to see an off day for once, what do they do when they don't have a case???

They probably drink, then watch porn, but in separate rooms of course.
Did that weird description for the movie sound like any movie you have heard of?

I enjoyed the episode. I have missed playful Dean and his pranks. We knew he would go into Sam’s room and I laughed when he rubbed his butt on Sam’s pillow. We used to put tape on people’s telephones so it would keep ringing when they lifted the receiver. The toothbrush in the armpit was a bit much though. Then, he looked so pleased with himself when he hustled those guys at pool. It made me think of Swan Song when the prophet was telling their history and said Sam and Dean hustled pool together.
Sam and Castiel working together to contact Bobby was nice and Bobby has not lost his touch. Castiel made a nice slide into Heaven. His treatment of Metatron made me feel a little better about them breaking him out. That sniveling angel is scared of Dean, but he must not remember how dangerous Cas can be.
The King of Hell is back! I enjoyed watching him sitting at the bar with his fruity drink and discussing issues with Dean, then kicking Rowena out of Hell. Finally.

I am waiting to see if I will enjoy Rowena now that she is not making Crowley look impotent. She would need to make a very quick transformation from the witch who turns people into mindless killers for her own amusement. How anyone can like her the way she is now is beyond my understanding.
"Asstiel" was a good slur at Cas, but Cas' retaliation was even better.

4 I enjoyed this one. It felt more like the SPN of old. And since Rowena was getting her a** handed to her, I could even take her in the small doses she had in this episode. I don't think she's gone for good, though, since she know the MoL have possession of the coven's spells and she wants them. I thought Sam's going to a foreign film would have been enough to turn Dean off, but a mime who'd a cockroach? Surely they could have come up with something better than that. I liked Dean's going to a bar and scoring some cash from "hair gel" and his buddies. I wonder if he kept the watch? Sam and Castiel's plan to get in touch with Bobby was great. It's always good to see him. "That's Metaron? He looks like a Fraggle." "The Bobbys are out and they're surly. Repeat, the Bobbys are surly." So glad to see Cas steal Metatron's grace from him the same way Metatron did to him. And I loved when Sam shot him! I just hope Cas can keep control of him while they go looking for a way out of the MoC for Dean. I wish the boys wouldn't keep things from each other. Dean should have told Sam about Rowena and the fact that he's impervious to spells. That may come in handy. And Sam should have told Dean about Cas and Metatron. Oh well. Great episode. Since we're getting down to the last few of the season, I'm hoping the tension will build and we'll get some more good episodes. I see Charley is back next week. Okay, okay, I'll give her a chance.

Good point about sharing information. Either Sam or Crowley might suggest a spell and it will not work.

This was so much better than the train wreck from last week, lots of good moments for me. I like how all the actors were so focused and brought their A game this week, last week I felt they just went thru the motions. I loved seeing a little of the bad ass in all of them, Dean, Sam , Cas and Crowley. Poor Sam, how awful it must be to be woken up by your brother screaming your name and realize he is dreaming. I loved Sam willing to do whatever it takes to help/fix Dean, even though we all know that won't end well, it was wonderful to see. I liked seeing smart Sam, who worked thru his options in order to get and control Metatron. (the hippie remark was funny) Dean- Please just be honest with someone about what is going on with you, let someone help you. The playing pool scene was funny and I liked him getting over on the college kids. I thought his messed up hair was pretty sexy too. When Crowley showed up in the bar and called him Squirrel, and Dean called him Boris and asked about Natasha. I laughed, and I loved Dean's little amused smile at himself. Cas- I liked seeing Cas more in charge this episode, and how much he was willing to help Sam even though he knows it will end bad, because Dean won't be happy with people lying to him. His run into Heaven, was interesting because we normally don't get that much action out of Cas. I really enjoy the Cas and Sam partnership and hope to continue to see more of it. I enjoy him having the upper hand on Metatron, but I wonder how long before that will backfire on Cas, even though Sam was the one who suggested it. Crowley is back and how I have missed him. I hope Crowley comes back more often as the manipulative person we all know he can be, I LOVED him kicking out Rowena, should have done that a long time ago, and good for Dean for opening up Crowley's eyes about what was going on. I really think Crowley looks on Dean and Sam as some kind of extended family, he seemed more interested in what Dean had to say than in all the yapping Rowena did. His little pitchfork in his drink was just hilarious. At the end with Sam reading Bobby's letter and a tear coming down his face. (sniff, sniff, I didn't catch that till the third time) I wonder how we will all survive this season finale, I hear rumours that it is sad and dark.

NC. You noticed something I never saw! Crowley had a pitchfork in his drink? Hilarious! Sorry I missed it.

I missed the pitchfork and the tear. It was good enough to watch again so I will see it the next viewing.

SoCal and Anti, Yep, there was a little red plastic pitchfork in Crowley's drink. The tear is hard to see on Sam's face, thank goodness for DVR and being able to go back and watch a scene over. I wonder what they will do to Bobby?

Way better than the crap we're been getting lately. It was so sweet to see Bobby back I wish he got to speak to Dean though. Metatrons face/voice bothers me so much. Anyone know why it's not on next week? Promo said its coming back on the 15th.

All of the CW shows that I watch are showing repeats next week, but I do not know why.
The angel bouncers were surrounding Bobby and I thought they would put him in one of their cells. I hope they do not do anything worse, but Hannah is rather vengeful. I remember she was having angels killed just because they refused to return to heaven. That sucked.

Yeah, what's up with the break next week? Maybe it's so all of us who are trying to finish our taxes aren't spending our time watching 2 gorgeous men fight demons!

I watched and enjoyed the episode again. The little pitchfork was cute and Sam’s emotional response to Bobby’s note was touching.
Some other things I liked:
Bobby was reading a magazine with Tori Spelling on the cover. Also, he was listening to “The Gambler”, which is one of my favorites.
They mentioned “Biggerson’s” which brought back a lot of memories.
Pryce: What are you? Cas: I’m an angel Pryce: No…you can’t be. Cas: Why not? Pryce: Because I’m an atheist. Sam: Not any more.
The somber music when Sam placed Bobby’s hat on the table.
I was surprised to see Dean’s eyes turned black when he was wetting his face in the pub’s restroom and he looked spooked.
I had to look up Boris-Natasha because I did not remember their names from “Bullwinkle”. That was cute.
I did immediately recognize “42” as being Jackie Robinson’s jersey number and the cool slide that paid homage to him.
