You know what I really hated? When the guys won the cover for TV Guide Magazine and they overly Photoshopped the picture. They took away Jared's little mole beside his nose and the one down by his lip and they took of Jensen's freckles! Like seriously...? Those little imperfections on their faces are what makes them Jared and Jensen! Don't do that!

I was just talking with Benson about the tv guide cover yesterday.
Like what the fuck I voted to the point where my fingers hurt and they PS'd the shit out of it for no reason.

Boy do I have mixed feelings on this one. On one hand I really, really want Dean to do just what you said, take out Dick with righteous anger in retaliation for what was done to Bobby. OTOH, I'm not up for one more round of when Sam did it, it was wrong; when Dean does it, it is right. Sam was hammered by Dean and the show for going after Lilith for revenge. Yet now that Dean wants revenge, I think it will portrayed as being a good thing. That bothers me. To me it's like season five where Dean couldn't forgive Sam for working with a demon and then he turns around and works with Crowley and everything in hunky dory. If Dean does go the revenge route I want him to succeed, but have to pay the same price that Sam and John did. I want him to learn that revenge is a bad motivator. I still want him to take Dick out, I just don't want the one and only time revenge is good to be when Dean does it.
I have to agree with your post. If anything, I'd like Sam and Dean to take down Dick together.

Tumblr can be so eloquent, not that anyone is at this point yet.

Tumblr can be so eloquent, not that anyone is at this point yet. ROFL! I think that's true for many many people! For me, I wouldn't say that I don't like watching the show anymore. I do, but it's just certain elements that leave me so disappointed and discouraged. But, I do really want to keep watching. I'm not going to stop. I've just learned that I won't go into it with anymore expectations since I keep getting let down by Sera and the writers.

I find that the worst episode of "Supernatural" is head's above anything else on network television. My vote for episode enjoyed the least: "Route 666." My vote for best episode : "Nightshifter." But so many episodes are just terrific. I'm mystified by people who are now unhappy with the show because certain "extra" characters have been killed off. Hello....we're dealing with a show that has hunters tracking down demons and monsters. People are going to die. As long as it's not Sam or Dean (at least permanently), I can deal with the others. Much as I enjoyed Castiel, I thought his storyline was long overdue to end. And boy-o-boy, did he get a hell of a send off. Same with Bobby. I loved the guy, but maybe he had become too much of a crutch for the boys. I love the new character of Frank. If they use him judiciously, he could be the next great sidekick for Sam and Dean. I will never stop watching this show. It's just too damn good.

I will never stop watching this show. It's just too damn good. I'm not unhappy with the show because of people dying. I'm unhappy with the show because of how it's currently treating it's characters. I mean what has this show turned Dean into? He's constantly emo, constantly whining and that's not the Dean Winchester I fell in love with. What has Sam been reduced to? A pretty wallpaper who stands in the background making facial expressions just to get across how he might be feeling. We've had no growth or development from either brother this season. We no longer have those wonderful brotherly bonding moments that we all seem to crave. They just keep getting separated, and Sam is honestly shit on as a character which makes personally makes me physically sick the way he's treated. They could've taken Bobby out of the equation without killing him such as putting him in a coma or leaving him with amnesia, but nope! Instead, they resort to killing him off and that alone, I just don't like because of how special of a character Bobby has become throughout the years. I don't see what's so wrong with being unhappy because Cas or Bobby have died in the show because fans love them. In fact, one of my best friends' favorite character is Bobby. He always has been since he appeared at the end of Season 1. I'm just saying. There's nothing wrong with people feeling the way that they do. I'll never stop watching the show either and that's not even what this thread is about. It's about people's current upset and discouragement with the direction the show is going and what it's doing to the characters.

Of course there's absolutely nothing wrong who how people feel about the characters. I would never be one to say how a viewer should feel. I don't have that power, nor would I want it. I guess the depth of feeling of anger people feel over the treatment of various characters has caught me by surprise. If I had my druthers, the boys would be traveling across the country in the Metallicar, ganking demons and killing monsters. O well, we can't always have what we want. That being said, I will take what I can get! ;D

That is what is great about this show! It has so many layers, that everyone is getting something different out of it - for some, it's the brothers, others the interaction of them with talented supporting characters, or the bonding moments, or action, or Hurt Sam or Dean, or Big Bads, or Hero Dean, or Smoldering Sam, or Monsters of the Week...I could go on an on... Anyway, that is also why it's a double-edged sword - no matter what tone is currently being featured, there will be fans not getting what they like most... Alas...true love is never simple...
