This show has been getting quite a lot of buzz. It's a new show set to premiere on Fox on Thursday May 14th.
A Secret Service agent goes to Wayward Pines, Idaho, in search of two federal agents who have gone missing in town. He soon learns that he may never get out of Wayward Pines alive. Once he makes it into town after a car accident, he encounters "Stepford" types and a lot of trouble from the local sheriff. It stars Matt Dillon, Carla Gugino, and Toby Jones and is written and created by Chad Hodge.

I saw the premiere. It was good... Creepy at times.

I watched it too. It was good and very mysterious. One woman thought she had been there approximately 11 months, but she had been there over ten years. The missing agent thought she had been there 12 years, but had been missing only five weeks. That is mind boggling.
I liked the shot of the town when the agent climbed the hill and looked down. There did not seem to be a road leading in or out of town.

I would have preferred to have them wait to show that scene until at least the 2nd episode... You need to leave something to get the viewers to come back. Episode 2- Don't Discuss Your Life BeforeEthan asks Beverly to help him find out how Evans' body ended up in the abandoned house. Meanwhile, Theresa and Ben go to Idaho to investigate Ethan's mysterious car crash. |

I Just watched "Betrayal". We now know what Wayward Pines is and I wish the mystery had played out a little longer. Nathan wants to warn the rebels about the danger surrounding the town, but no one will believe him. I understand the reasoning behind the secrecy, but there has to be a better solution than public executions.
I am hoping the "protect people from themselves" drama does not become annoying.

Watching season 2 now. I am so glad it is back and Terrence Howard is in it again. I thought he was gone, but I hope he stays around awhile.

I've never asked, but does anyone else who goes to that Decoy site see photos that recall Mr. Howell saying, "Good heavens! X-Rays!"

Leave it to me to start a thread and then abandon it. ![]() I did end up sticking with it and did see season 2. FOX Chairman Newman said: "Wayward is not canceled, but it will not be on this summer. It’s possible you’ll see Wayward at some point back on Fox. But we are focusing a little bit more heavily on unscripted this summer.” January 2017 Damn. So earliest for it's return would be fall? |

My guess would be summer of 2018. By then, I would need a re-watch to remember what happened to whom.

Recently, author Blake Crouch revealed there’s still a chance for a third season of the FOX TV show. Based on Crouch’s novels, the sci-fi thriller follows the residents of the mysterious town of Wayward Pines. The cast includes Djimon Hounsou, Nimrat Kaur, Josh Helman, Kacey Rohl, Tom Stevens, Hope Davis, Shannyn Sossamon, Carla Gugino, and Toby Jones. Earlier this year, FOX chairman Gary Newman said Wayward Pines was not cancelled but there will be no new season this summer. Now, Crouch has echoed Newman’s statements on Reddit, saying he hopes there will be a third season. link |
