With only two episodes left in the season, I'm left wondering: will Dean manage to be rid of the MoC or is it (most likely) to be carried over into season 11? From this preview, it looks like Dean goes off on his own to get revenge on the Stynes (i just can't bring myself to use the term "Fron-kon-steen) for killing Charley. What will Sam do? How about Rowena and Crowley? I'm keeping an open mind and hoping for the best.

The episode starts and stops a few minutes later, so please make sure your recordings are adjusted.I still like him when he is angry. But the Stynes had better run!

It looks like nobody is safe from Dean. Maybe Sam should keep some distance.

They are just messing with you...I hope. Whoo...the look Dean gave Sam is enough to make his blood run cold. "You got Charlie killed. You don't get to apologize."
Who beat up Crowley? His mother? Dean? Sam?

The way they edit the promos it is hard to tell who Dean is shooting at, but I did read at another site that the extended promo actually had bits from the last 2 episodes, but not sure how true that is. Regardless, the next 2 are going to hard to watch, I may have to take a little break from the computer so I am not spoiled for the finale, but it is going to be hard to stay away. Anti-Thanks for letting us know about the slight time change.

I will avoid sites where there are spoilers. I do not mind when people try to guess what will happen, but the insider info can be very spoilery.

I'd be willing to bet that Sam is yelling at Crowley and saying, "Everything that's happened is YOUR fault!" Because of Crowley, Dean met Cain and got the mark. Crowley is such a manipulator.

SoCal was right. Sam was mad at Crowley. This episode was everything I expected and went beyond what I expected from Dean. Dean was on a rampage and no one was safe, not even his friends. I did think he would let the young Styne go free, but this new Dean is seeing everything in black and white, no gray area, but mostly black. Sam tricked Crowley and when Crowley's eyes turned red, he looked truly evil -and dangerous. His mother and the Winchesters should beware of him now. I did not enjoy the fight between Cas and Dean. Castiel was at a disadvantage because he does not really want to hurt Dean. I thought Sam was holding Rowena in one of the hidden rooms in the bunker, but they must have been at another location.

Oh yes!!! CROWLEY'S BACK!!! I was so fucking IMPRESSED when his eyes went red and he flung Sam across the room. I was feeling so pissed off as Sam talked crap to him...as he suffered. I HATED Sam during that scene...and I CHEERED when Crowley showed Sam who's boss!!
I missed the old, evil Crowley. So glad he's back. That was a GREAT scene.
OMG I didn't think Dean was going to really shoot that kid! I was totally caught off-guard.
I'm seriously loving this version of Dean. And it shows me, once again, that Jensen is such a gifted actor. MUCH better than Jared, hands down.

This gets a big, fat 5. It ranks right up their with my other favorite of the season, episode 2, "Riechenbach." Too bad most of the episodes in between were just....okay....,sigh.> Anyway, it was great seeing ruthless, on-the-hunt, MoC-driven Dean. But how does he get to and from Louisiana so quickly? Wher did they burn Charlie's body? Where is the MoL bunker? Any how, I quibble. Loved seeing Dean kill all those Steins. But if he's so strong how did he let the police officer over-power him? But, I quibble, again! Loved how Sam tricked Crowley into meetig him and told him what he really thought of him, "you have the accent and the snark....." And seeing Crowley recover and go full on KoH!!!!!! Outstanding. I was really worried that the prisoner of the episode was going to be Sam! Whew! And when Dean got back to the bunker. Wow! Scary-face Dean. "You only have one brain." And when he killed the young Stein, it reminded me of Cain going after the young boy, himself, telling the boys the evil ran in his family and it would eventually take him over so he (Cain) was preventing that from happening by killing him before he could become bad. Just like Dean killing the young Stein, "You're right, I don't have to, but I'm going to anyway." So happy he got there before the Steins could torch the MoL bunker. I didn't want to see the boys latest "home" be taken from them. One last quibble. I don't get Castiel. Is he a full on angel or is he diminished? He doesn't know Charlie is dead, he can't shut Rowena up and he can't defeat Dean in a fight. I thought he was a "soldier of God." Is he or isn't he angel-powered? I'm glad Dean didn't stick him, but I'm surprised he left the angel blade behind. It's going to be a long summer hellatus. And I see Death coming....

I gave this one a 5 as soon as it ended. It was fantastic. The King of Hell has always been one of my favorites and I am glad he is getting his mojo back.
I have no idea why Castiel seems to lack power and I do not like it. I did not want him to hurt Dean, but I thought he could do more than he showed. The way he just laid there and gave Dean an opportunity to kill him is disheartening.
I was absolutely thrilled to see Death is coming to town.

Wow, what an intense episode, I was so wound up it took a long time to go to sleep last night. I almost stopped breathing when Dean "stabbed" Cas. I gave it a 4, it was very good but there were a few moments that were not so good, but more that were great. Yippee, the Stynes are gone, well at least some of them, hopefully they won't come back around anytime soon. As someone who has Southern relatives and roots, I was bothered by the stereotypical view of Southern people, the writers need to get out more and see some of the country. Crowley is back and it is high time! Mark S was amazing once he turned that switch and became evil again. It was terrifying to see him move towards Sam and how scared Sam must have been to see that nothing worked on Crowley and that he was most certainly going to die. Did anyone else notice that when he spit up that blood, that it kind of smoked and then dissipated? His glowing red eyes that also seemed to be smoking, great visual! ok bets on what Crowley really is? Other than one scary, creepy powerful demon? I am growing more worried for Sam, he is so desperate and so focused that he is losing control of the situation and doesn't see it. His behavior was kind of all over but it make sense considering the stress he is under. He actually seemed kind of odd at the graveside, but then seemed to come back to himself and tried to make Dean understand why he is doing what he is. He was so cold with Crowley until Crowley got the upper hand. I personally don't think it is Sam's fault about Charlie, but I think the guys both carry so much guilt over people dying it is just natural for them to assume the responsibility. Sam has always been at a loss when Dean is not around and willing to go as far as needed to fix Dean or get Dean back, I think this time he may regret going this far. I think Cas was holding back and didn't want to hurt Dean and that is why he basically didn't fight back, he only tried to subdue Dean he never threw a punch. I only hope that the next time he and Dean are together he stand up for himself, because I think Dean could very easily kill Sam or Cas, because the MOC is so strong now. I don't think Cas has as much power as he used to in S8, I think a lot of power went away when Metatron closed Heaven. He was able to stop Dean in 10.03 so the only thing I can think of is that he wouldn't fight against Dean, maybe in an attempt to get though to him? I think Dean is past the "I am your friend" angle, he doesn't care anymore. Dean was so cold, so focused, so absolutely scary this episode, I don't think anyone would have gotten thru to him, his only thought was to kill as many of the Stynes as possible and he didn't care who got in his way. I think if Sam would have been in the bunker instead of Cas he would have beat him up to. I really thought he was going to kill Cas at the end, and I would have hated that, as it is I still think Dean could kill Sam or Cas next episode, he is so far gone now. I don't think there is much of Dean left, I think it is Demon Dean and the MOC about 85% in there right now, and quickly heading towards 100%. I hated what he said to Sam at the beginning, no matter how mad and upset they have been with each other thru the years, they have never wished each other dead, that was hard to hear and watch. I only wish I could have got the day off work next week after the season finale, I think it will be a soul crushing episode. I think the bunker is in Lebanon Kansas, they showed the sign when Sam was going back home, but how Cas beat Sam back there I don't know.

The JIB con in Italy is this weekend.
Someone asked Misha about the Dean /Cas fight scene, and he said there was originally supposed to be a fight between them but in the end they decided that Cas wouldn't fight back against Dean, that he didn't want to enrage the MOC.

Thanks...that makes sense, but a little helpful dialogue would have been appreciated. Something like "Dean, I would give you the holy taser treatment, but I don't want the MoC to make you zap out. Ouch, stop hitting me!"

This is off topic from the episode... but did anyone see what Jared was tweeting out? He canceled on the tour, but the thing that worried me was him asking people to write him and show him some love because he was having a hard time. poor guy

He canceled on the tour, but the thing that worried me was him asking people to write him and show him some love because he was having a hard time. poor guy Jared had a mini-nervous breakdown in Europe. Everything is kind of hush hush...but from what I've heard, the poor guy broke down crying in his hotel. He's been very open about his battle with depression, but what happened in Europe was sudden and shocking. All he wanted to do was go home to Gen and the kids. It was pretty major. Poor, poor baby! Made me want to cry. We should ALL pray for him.

I sit about 10 feet from the TV, but I moved in closer and re-watched after novemberschild said Yes, the blood smoked and his red eyes smoked! That was awesome and terrifying. Actually, I am now thinking Crowley could give Dean a run for his money if he did not love him so much.
