New promo and stills for ep12

There is a very noticeable lack of Sam here and in the promo shots ontd-spnparty.livejournal.com/499567.html

Not happy about the boys being separated again! But no denying Dean looks hot in that 1940s get up.

REST ASSURED, SAM IS IN IT. THEY PROBABLY WON'T SHOW MANY,IF ANY, CLIPS OF HIM BECAUSE OF THE 'OLD FRIEND' HE RUNS INTO. WE'LL PROBABLY SEE A CLIP INCLUDING SAM LATER IN THE WEEK THO. AS FOR THAT CLIP, CAN I JUST SAY, DEAN IN THAT OUTFIT :heart:

My worry isn't that Sam won't be in it. I'm sure he will it's that it looks pretty certain that the boys will be separate for most of the ep. I don't tend to enjoy eps like that and there have been far too many like that lately for my liking.

I just saw a bunch of pictures on Spoilertv and they looked pretty awesome. Dean looked pretty handsome in his outfit.

Little sad we didn't see even 1 picture with Sam. I get the idea they want to keep the "old friend" a secret, but then why not have a picture with the two boys instead. Obviously, they are either together in the beginning or the end. I doubt they are separated the entire episode.

For those of you that watch White Collar on USA Network, Dean looked an awful lot like Neal does.

Thanks for posting these, geordiegirl. I'm sorry to say, but it's really disheartening that Sam is left out yet again... He was barely in the promo for this episode for one second. If you blinked, you missed him, and now he's in absolutely none of the episode stills? I love Dean, but this is just disappointing me even more...

I am sad that we didn't even get one photo of Sam, or Sam and Dean together. I am sure he is in the episode, but the fact that promos, or clips, or even episode pictures, don't center around him that often, indicates to me, that the network see Jensen/Dean to be better at bringing in viewers. I don't think the network realizes the the fans of the show (large groups) prefer to see both boys, not just one of the boys. If they are promoting an episode that looks like it only features Dean heavily (even though I know Sam is in it), for me, it's like what's the point of watching, if they are forgetting what the show is all about?

Whew! One more reason for me to wish this workday was OVER. Sorry to hear that Sam doesn't seem to be included in the pictorial. Would like to hear more about the plot of the episode. Hoping both characters will figure in it especially since we don't get a new episode for, what, two weeks after it?

Yeah, there are going to be re-runs on the 20th and 27th.

I'm assuming then, on Feb. 3rd there will be a new episode.

Truthfully, I'm surprised they are having a re-run on the 27th. I figured they'd want to have 3 or 4 new episodes in a row and then have a break for most of March.

With March Madness/NCAA Basketball Tournament occurring, they would probably figure that people would be watching that instead. Those games are played on Thursday and Friday nights.

I don't think they see Jensen as a bigger draw. But pics of one of the guys in 1940s is going to generate more interest than yet another set of pics of the boys in plaid shirts and jeans in an old warehouse. Still think they should have stuck in one or 2 of them together though - if only to avoid Sam fans worrying.

Ok this sounds better (from interview with Sera today) for those - inc me -worried about Sam's role in this weeks ep.

TVLINE | The episode description says Sam is “surprised by the reappearance of an old friend.” Is that ghost Bobby? Or someone else?
You’ll see on Friday. Sam’s problem is every bit as bad as Dean’s because Dean is stuck. So Sam is pretty frantic. Part of the fun of this episode is they’re often in the same place, just in different time periods.

Ahem...........may I just say that Jensen looks smokin' hot in that 1940's get-up?
But I can't believe in that whole set of pictures there wasn't one shot of Jared as Sam. What's the deal?
I'm still not sure what the next episode is about except time travel is involved.
AND...........then no new episodes for 2 weeks.
So 4 weeks of hellatus....2 new episodes........2 weeks of hellatus.....what the frack is CW trying to do to us?
