I thought the show had gone on break, but it had not and episodes 10 and 11 did not record. I have no idea why, but I need to watch them on-line before they disappear. While reading your comments, I realized I must have missed an episode.

Not as bad as the previous episodes.
I feel good when Bullock is on the case. And The Commish gives me confidence too.
I'm so glad Jim hasn't decided to forget his morals. But he came too close. At least Penguin is helpful.
Bruce is happy? Last time I saw anyone say they were happy when in that kind of a mood, it was Droopy on the 1970s TV series with Tom and Jerry. I feel bad for Silver.

I was watching part of a Christmas episode of "Keeping Up Appearances", the British sitcom from the early 90s. Hyacinth Bou-QUET was talking on her Mo-BILE phone. Given the cars on this show, I would think cell phones would look more like hers than the ones I've seen.

Several of my cousins like this show. A lot.
One cousin apparently watches with his whole family. The youngest is 12 so I hope it's appropriate for him.

Penguin's mother was one of the "Taxi" cast members appearing on the James Burrows tribute who commented on her experiences with the show.
I learned on "Jeopardy" that Penguin Books has a Gotham division.
So Jim lied about killing the mayor. I suppose it was justified, but I don't think so.
No Bruce this week, but his company was mentioned.
Fries is pronounced Freeze where I live. Lots of people of German descent.
I did not need to see what happened to those frozen people. Except the one.
Dr. Strange really is strange. I feel sorry for Penguin. On the other hand, Butch isn't smart enough to be a leader.

I still enjoy Gotham although I preferred Jim to be honest like "The Untouchables". I do understand that Gotham's criminals are not afraid of the police and extreme measures must sometimes be taken.
I cannot feel sorry for the man whose wife was ill. He kidnapped healthy people to experiment on. There is no justification for that.
Nygma and Cobblepot make interesting buddies. I hope they get together before the end of the season.
Poor Butch. I do not think he wanted to be the big boss, with so many responsibilities. The mayor's sister is too dangerous for anyone to work with.
I am surprised Fish really is gone. I expected her to make a surprise return, but it has been a long while now.
I am always happy to see Harvey. I wonder if he believes Jim's version of the things that have happened. He might not really care though.

Which Harvey? Big mistake by the creators of the character.
I know you mean the detective, not Dent. And I'm always glad to see him too.

I do like seeing The Commish tell people what to do.
Jim's girlfriend is hot. I liked how she stood up to the people at Arkham even though she disagreed with sending Freeze's wife there. I feel bad that she did what she did, but at least Freeze is getting what's coming to him.
I do feel sorry for Penguin. And I'll say it again. Dr. Strange is very strange.
Once again, Bruce is a part of the show, but I'm getting concerned about him.

2.13 WOTV: A Dead Man Feels No Cold (3-7-16)
Victor Fries continued to kill people as he refused to give up the goal of saving his wife by freezing her. His wife was placed in Arkham because it is a secure facility, but they had no way of knowing Dr. Strange would interfere with their plans to capture Fries. I think Strange's interference probably kept Fries from killing more officers than he already had. Then Fries killed more people when he returned to his home.
This is the second show I am watching where a woman who is with child insists on putting herself in a dangerous situation. In both shows during the past week, the women were held hostage. Leslie was fortunate that Fries had no desire to harm her, probably because he believed she really did want to help his wife.
Sometimes I want Jim to help Cobblepot even though he is a villain. Cobblepot has helped Jim every time it was requested and The Penguin is a savvy enemy.
Bruce, Bruce, Bruce...we know what you are up to. Will Selina save him from himself? Will he become the Dark Knight by pulling the trigger?

It's not my idea of entertaining, but it was a good quality episode. The man who turned out to be the killer did such a good job. And unlike most of the people on this show, he wasn't campy.
Bruce did a great job too.
Strange's success with Penguin was pretty amazing.
I missed a few details and I hope I can remember to find the episode online. The station went off the air for a few seconds, but given the timing, I just wonder if it was a glitch with one of the many times they tried to run a crawl at the bottom of the screen. My first thought was the severe weather was so bad they felt they had to actually interrupt programming. I wasn't watching live so I couldn't go in the other room and watch with an antenna. Still, "Supergirl" had no weather bulletins, which I found strange.

My first thought was the severe weather was so bad they felt they had to actually interrupt programming. I wasn't watching live so I couldn't go in the other room and watch with an antenna. Still, "Supergirl" had no weather bulletins, which I found strange. I was both interested and concerned about Bruce during his quest to kill the man who murdered his parents. I thought killing the man would be the turning point in him becoming "dark". I am not familiar with the development of Bruce Wayne into Batman so "Gotham" is the only version of the story I know. I hope they show us more of Bruce and Selina together, but they might just focus on Jim. Bruce should be safe with Selina, except for his fatal flaw. He refuses to stand on the sideline and let someone else take the lead. That is what led to Alfred getting hurt so he needs to follow Selina's lead. I really felt sorry for Alfred as he read the letter from Bruce. Of course he will miss him, but the really sad part is that he will fear for Bruce's safety every minute, every day. "Strange's success with Penguin was pretty amazing. " surprised me because I thought Penguin was faking his "recovery" so he would not get more therapy. He is probably the most clever person in Gotham so he could pull it off. I will wait and see. B.D. Wong is excellent as Professor Strange. He has played many diverse roles, but it still feels weird seeing him act that way. I agree Michael Bowen did a good job as Matches Malone. I have seen him in movies - Kill Bill, Django Unchained, Walking Tall, etc. - and he is always a cool tough guy. The Captain and Bruce are going to have a fight.

One detail I forgot to mention. The tough girl must have been Lori Petty. I remember seeing her name in the credits and was watching for her, though I don't really know much about her. But the tough girl was good.

2.15 Mad Grey Dawn (3-21-16)
Gordon and Bullock investigate a trail of clues left in a museum robbery which unbeknownst to them were left by Nygma in a dangerous game of cat and mouse. Gordon's past comes back to haunt him when an anonymous person threatens to expose his hand in Galavan's murder. Meanwhile Penguin's visit to some old friends leads him to meet his father Elijah Van Dahl (Paul Reubens). Bruce practices his street smarts.

KyleEl was correct about Strange doing a job on Penguin. I could not believe it, but he really is mellow. His former friends were not all that nice to him so he was fortunate to meet with a family member. However, the extended family does not wish him well. Nygma is evil/insane but he is clever at creating riddles. “What do you call a tavern of blackbirds?” The answer was “A crowbar” as Nygma hit his victim with a crowbar. The clues on the art in the museum: Marché=Market, LA Rue=Road/Street and the stolen painting depicted a bombing at a railway station. Jim and Harvey solved the riddle to mean there would be a bomb at Union Station on Market Street. That was all very clever, but it worked only if Jim Gordon was the detective sent to the scene. When Oswald and Nygma were together, Oswald revealed information that Nygma was able to use to frame Jim. Harvey Dent was the Prosecutor and Jim was sentenced to 40 years in a penitentiary. Bruce handled himself remarkably well in a tough situation. I had no doubt that he would win the fight.

I wasn't even considering that Penguin might be faking, but he certainly doesn't appear to be. It is funny when he holds up the paper saying essentially, "See? I'm sane." I like that he has found the family he didn't know and hope it's really true his father didn't abandon him. I knew that man was either Martin Short or Pee Wee Herman, but somewhere I found out he was Pee Wee. He was really nice, but that does explain a lot.
I'm not clear on who the woman who woke up is. My first thought would have been the woman who was going to be frozen, but we saw her die.
I didn't want to see Jim go up the river. How can he? He's a major character in the comics. I wouldn't have even known who he was except for this show, because Batman, Robin, Alfred, Joker, Penguin, Catwoman and Riddler are the only ones I knew.
I didn't like seeing Bruce get beat up but he is tough. I can easily see the Bruce from this week as Michael Keaton saying, "I'm Batman!"
Nygma is disturbing but entertaining. I've seen at least some of his commercials too.
By the way, Jim's girlfriend was really pregnant, and she has given birth to their daughter Frances in real life.

The woman who woke up is Barbara, Jim's original lady friend, who became violent after they separated. Let's hope she does not remember that Leslie called her a bad name while she was in the coma.

Poor Gordon. He can't catch a break. I really enjoy this show, BTW. I did not know you liked Gotham. I am 40 minutes into Monday's episode. Jim just visited Puck in the infirmary; the inmates had beat him up to make Jim angry. Harvey is a good friend to stand by Jim in spite of the Captain being really angry and suspicious. Back to the episode.

That was about as unpleasant an episode as they've ever done. It's bad enough Jim goes to prison but as a cop, he wouldn't have been put in general population. I was surprised to learn that what I had seen was not in fact general population. And even more surprised when they put him with the others. It wasn't right for them to give him a friend and then have that happen.
As usual, Harvey makes me feel better. When he is on the case you have reason to believe everything will turn out all right.
That warden looked familiar for some reason. So did the inmate who was going after Jim.
I feel so bad for Penguin having discovered his father and then losing him. But the other family members trying to keep him from getting their money were entertaining.
Regardless of what happened to Jim, his girlfriend and the baby, remember that they are together in real life and the baby was born.

That is wonderful about their real life happiness.
Becoming allies with a mob boss helped our guys on Person of Interest and the same is true for Jim Gordon. Falcone was instrumental in springing him from jail and has volunteered to hide him until he can clear his name. Although Jim has broken the law, he was actually incarcerated for a crime he did not commit.

Gotham was really good. I am glad they did not have Jim Gordon on the run for half a season like The Blacklist did their main characters. Jim asked for help from some friends, one of which could not be trusted. Harvey really went the extra mile to help Jim get the audio for the call to IA. I enjoyed seeing Bruce, Selina and Alfred. Bruce and Selina were engaging in dangerous escapades which Bruce seemed to enjoy a little too much. Alfred is very protective of Bruce and he was chilly toward both Jim and Selina. Mr. Cobblepot is back in Penguin form. Yay! I anticipated the murder of his father would affect his psyche. Barbara was released from the psychiatric facility and Dr. Strange wants to observe how she behaves in society. It looks as if the first place she went was to Jim’s home.

Penguin certainly seemed like he had gotten better. He was behaving like he used to when people treated him like dirt and he had to take it. But I liked it when he finally became the old Penguin again. I didn't really care for the violence but they had it coming.
I didn't recognize Bruce but one reason, I guess, is that he never smiles. But I'm glad he's back in his safe home with Alfred. Or is that how it ended? I don't even remember now.
I'm relieved Jim isn't running too. I thought he was sunk when that cop found him with the tape, but everything worked out.
I was glad to finally see a cell phone again but I don't know when they looked like that. The car Harvey was driving was from the 70s and Barbara was put in a Cadillac from '71, '72 or '73. I don't remember the minor differences between those years but there were differences. I think it was "Rush Hour" where someone was driving an orange '65 Cadillac.

Yes, Bruce is back in his home. The only reason he did not leave with Selina is Alfred told him his father's computer had been repaired. Bruce is in a hurry to take up where his father left off, but he seems too young to do that. I am glad he has Alfred to help him.

Penguin's mother was on "Crowded" last night. I only know this because I saw a commercial. I only watched the episode of "Crowded" where I saw this commercial because Betty White and Jane Leeves of "Hot in Cleveland" were on it, and I knew this only because of another commercial. My TiVo had no listing for the episode and I had to record it manually. So according to the TiVo I was watching the final half-hour of "Little Big Shots".
What I know is that Patrick Warburton liked being taken care of by Betty White (who was being counseled by his wife along with Jane) and it appeared that in the next episode he was going to search for his real mother who ran out on him. I didn't take the time to watch.
