I liked the special they did explaining the show. It's always nice to go behind the scenes. The TV listings on my TiVo said it would talk about what was happening this season, but that was only in the last few minutes.
Zelena sure is pretty.
It's interesting to have Rumplestiltksin instructing Emma. I don't like her being evil, but she seems to be trying her best not to be.
I knew Zelena couldn't be trusted but they seemed to handle her pretty well.
I hate that Granny had to experience so much damage to her place. I don't understand why they had to travel in her diner anyway.
Kyle on "Last Man Standing" said he saw a documentary on tornadoes. Seriously?

Where's Anti?
This morning on the college campus I saw a group of students walking from one place to the other looking like they were part of this show's cast. It must have been a history class of some sort.
I really don't like seeing Emma dark but she is entertaining when she's sarcastic. She's still so pretty in Camelot.
Regina is still paying for her evil deeds. I hated to see what happened to Robin but at least they could save him. And now he's in trouble again.
It was great how they all worked together and got rid of that demon.
I'm curious as to how Granny's is once again intact.

I have been watching all of the episodes, but I see that I have not commented on them.
I think the story of the Dark Ones was a little complicated, but Merlin finally explained the origin of the Dark One. So far, it looks as if Emma is still leaning toward the dark side, but Hook is not giving up. Love made Rumple a better person, but we know he still did evil things without Belle knowing it.
I want the darkness to leave Emma and return to Rumple (unless this is the last season).
It seems really strange to me that Merlin and Arthur are not allies, but OUAT has a knack for twisting stories.
The promos said we will be shocked during the two-hour episode next week, and I am hoping they do not make Merlin evil.

I have too many shows to watch and I am not caught up so I am not happy about two hours either.

I didn't even try. And I'm still way behind. I almost recorded the show on TiVo no. 3, which means taking a chance that I won't have any signal problems. The ABC station did just fine when I first hooked up that TiVo, and I watched nothing but that station for ABC the whole summer after the change to digital, but it hasn't always worked.

Still waiting, and because I am going in order, it should be tonight, but I had to tell the TiVo not to delete some shows I didn't have time to watch. So those will be watched last. I need to get off the computer early again tonight. Meanwhile, I keep reading newspapers.

I watched it when I finally had to in order to keep it from being deleted.
It seemed like the event at the end of the first hour was the one that would lead to the beginning of the time back in Storybrooke when no one could remember anything. How could they have another hour?
The answer: a whole new story. I can't say I enjoyed it much but it was okay. Mulan was a good teacher and the witch's demands gave us an interesting surprise at the end.

I agree. I did not know they were going to switch to another story so I was waiting for a tie-in to Storybrooke. I thought you would like seeing the wolf girl again.

I had wondered where Red was. And when the wolf attacked, I thought of her. I didn't dream it would actually be her. The doctor who delivered Zelena's baby sure looked familiar for some reason.

I have seen him in a lot of shows, but on OUAT, he has appeared in at least one episode each season. He was Dr. Whale in most of those episodes, but he was known as Dr. Frankenstein when Regina and Rumple contacted him to resurrect Regina's first love. I think that was the episode. Eta: I think the doctor has similar features to Neil Patrick Harris.

I decided to go ahead and watch last night since none of the shows I have left to watch have yellow symbols, much less exclamation points. Although I dodged a bullet, which I will mention where it is relevant.
So now I know what they could have done with that second hour two weeks ago. There was no point in having the story of Merida at that time.
In fact, we needed another hour to explain just why everyone'e memories were erased. I didn't even think about that when the first hour ended two weeks ago. I just thought this was the event that sent everyone back, but there was nothing to indicate they would be or that they would lose their memories.
Anyway, I don't like Hook as evil now. And Nimue looks like she'll be far worse.
I found it very confusing that Emma kept going back and forth between the present and Camelot. Since she was no longer blonde, that seemed to indicate she had become The Dark One, and yet at some point it was stated she was a past Dark One. It finally made sense when I realized I was seeing the final events in Camelot before everyone returned to the present.

5.11 Swan Song NEW 12-6-15
The Dark Ones target a living soul for sacrifice, leading to a showdown between Dark Swan and Dark Hook; in a flashback, the Evil Queen forces Hook to confront a demon from his past.
This episode will probably be delayed because the President is scheduled to address the nation at 8 PM ET.

Now you tell us.
I didn't have time to come here yesterday. I was actually watching TV. Plus, although she didn't enforce the rule, the librarian most likely to tell me my time is up after an hour was there. I still managed to go nearly a half hour over. I don't turn on my own computer on weekends if the college library is open.

The episode was delayed but I saw all of it. The episode was complicated but I understood it better than some of the recent ones.
I am disappointed that Hook could not be persuaded from his quest for vengeance, but it led to another original storyline for next season. There was an interesting twist to the Mr. Gold and Belle story that I did not see coming.
I have gone to a ship to see someone off on a cruise, but I think it was very strange that Emma's family and friends were following her out to the underworld ship.

decoy.tvpassport.com/news/fairy-tale-fanatics-once-upon-time-has-fans-wondering-what-will-happen-next?subid=national-00001I was unable to watch the rest this week. I was told to select my provider, and Time warner was not on the list. Charter was, and Charter is trying to take over Time Warner, so maybe that problem will go away soon. I was able to watch the end of "Last Man on Earth" despite distractions that included what I mention on the Vent Thread, but also the video freezing and my having to watch commercials again and again every time I tried to restart. I liked seeing Hook's story but I don't like how he's turned evil again. I also don't like the idea of Emma taking all the darkness. How many times have they had to repair that clock? Gold's description of the underworld was not one I have to hear in church. The churches I have gone to don't emphasize that.

I saw the rest yesterday, but not without difficulty. The computer shut down, then I tried again on another site and the circle just rotated and rotated.
Finally it worked.
I hated to see Hook sacrifice hmself but I'm glad he did if Emma can find a way to get him back. I especially liked how her beautiful blonde hair came back immediately. I don't like the idea of either of them going where they're going.
And Gold is bad again. Really bad. But he's at his best when he is.

5.12 Souls of the Departed (3-6-16)
The mission to rescue Hook from the underworld turns out to be more difficult than expected as the heroes encounter souls with unfinished business.

The underworld is populated by people with unfinished business.
We saw a lot of people from the past (some during flashbacks): Neal, Peter Pan, Regina’s mother and father, Sidney Glass (the man in the mirror), James (David’s twin) whom I do not remember, and the black & white fancy car driven by one of the witches (Maleficent?). We also saw a new face - Hades.
So far, the trip led to one positive outcome - a soul departed "to a better place".

I was glad there were flashbacks. The underworld seemed like it would be depressing.
However, seeing King Henry cross that narrow bridge into paradise was nice to see. Also seeing King Henry and Henry meet. It was looking like King Henry would go the other way and I didn't want to see that.
The underworld wasn't quite as depressing as I thought it would be. Only a few scenes actually showed what I was expecting.
Cora got what she deserved. I will say she's pretty for her age. That scene where she was sent away made me think I would have liked the Fox series "Lucifer". If the title character was anything like that man, and it is true the show is actually sort of a comedy, that is.
I am pleased Regina wants to help others now. I had forgotten how truly evil she used to be.

"Lucifer" is very amusing and that is one of the programs I watch when it airs. Of course Lucifer is extremely charming so he is surrounded by beautiful women.

Snow was so cute as a teenager. I guess I've seen her at that age. Now we know where she learned to fight, and like Lana on "Smallville" she learned amazingly quickly in Offscreenville. When she did get it right, she could really handle herself. I don't see how she fell in such a deep hole without getting hurt.
I wouldn't have expected THE Hercules to be Justin Bieber.
Hook's friend reminded me of Fiona Apple. Earlier in the day I saw the SNL episode where Bob Dole appeared just after being defeated in the race for President. During the closing credits when everyone else was so happy, Fiona just looked depressed. Later, Hook's friend looked happy. I was glad things worked out for her. Oh, yeah, she crossed over when Bieber did.
Once again, we saw just how cruel Regina used to be. But she's not that way now.
Cruella still looks good. I've forgotten what I wanted to say about her.

5.14 Devil's Due (3-20-16)

Lee Arenberg – Leroy Aaron Douglas – Fendrake the Healer Beverley Elliott – Granny Greg Germann – Hades Dean Petriw- Young Boy Rachel Shelley – Milah Victoria Smurfit – Cruella De Vil

It's weird. I didn't remember that scene where Hook was told to choose when they said what happened previously.
Once again, I was glad to see the flashbacks. And now we know how Hook and Milah met.
I was relieved Rumplestiltskin didn't kill the healer, but we know what a high price he paid.
I liked the look on Emma's face when she found out what had to be done.
It worries me that they lost their way home, but the writers will figure something out.

I watched the last two episodes back-to-back because I could not keep up with everything during the past week. I like it when Mary Margaret is Snow White. I also like the young Snow White.
When Emma met Milah, Rumple made the meeting as awkward as possible. The ladies seem to be okay with each other though. I think Milah was a nag when she was married to Rumple. I know he shamed his family, but she never forgave him and made his life miserable. Yet, he kept trying to please her.
The contract Rumple signed to get medicine for his son was something new. When Rumple became upset while looking at Belle in the globe, I wondered if he thought she was flirting with one of the dwarfs, which made no sense to me. But it is clear now why he was so upset.
They have to conquer many trials in their attempt to get Jillian home and I am glad they did not wind up in the river of lost souls, except for the nag. That place was creepy. Every time Rumple is helping someone, someone puts him in a position where he needs to do something unscrupulous.
Regina is still one of my favorites, whether she is being good or evil. Too bad her divide-the-heart trick did not work.
The brat is doing it again. Henry is too young to keep making decisions that affect everyone and not tell anyone what he plans.

5.15 The Brothers Jones (3-27-16)
A surprise visit from Hook's brother Liam may provide Hook and Emma with the tool they need to defeat Hades; in flashbacks, the bond between the Jones brothers is tested as their merchant ship heads into a storm.

Once again, I liked the flashbacks.
I was relieved at how things turned out for Liam and the others.
It was surprising that Hades showed up when he had never been in any of the other stories.
I'm glad Henry has the right attitude toward being The Author.
It still bothers me that Cruella's license plate says "Dev il", not "De Vil".
