The boys look happy. What a difference a week makes.

I loved "Baby". The introduction was nice and it was wonderful to see the guys on the road again.
They gave us a "jerk" - "bitch" moment. Ah the memories - a roadhouse, a romp in the backseat, a chat with John Winchester, fighting monsters, and rock 'n roll.
We wanted the boys to share their secrets and Sam did exactly that. He told Dean about his visions and he told him that he was infected by the virus. I am glad Dean did not get angry like he has in the past.
Castiel is recovering and searching lore to help the guys. He needs something to do to keep him from trying to leave the bunker too soon. I laughed when Cas said he does not know why orange is the new black. It was funny when Castiel gave us the run down on the monster while Dean was fighting with the monster.
Baby was really beat up, but we know Dean will repair her with love and tenderness.

"Baby" was, hands-down, one of the best episodes of SPN EVER. Like you, Anti, I loved the intro. Retro-wonderful. I'm wondering if Sam's vision of his father was really God trying to give him hints about the Darkness and his willingness to help Dean and Sam if they help themselves. "John" never told Sam he was his father, but told him only he and Dean could defeat the Darkness. Loved the boys in the car: talking, eating and tracking monsters. Sam "nerdy" with all his knowledge and Dean surprising Sam (again) with what he knows:"I read." Dean fighting the "ghoul-pire" was outstanding! All while Cas is telling him, over the phone, about what the things are. That was just the greatest. Sam kind of got left of of his part of the fight, but it was great to hear that the monsters he was fighting all turned normal when Dean finally was able to kill the alpha. Poor Baby, she took a beating. How many times will Dean have to re-build her? Starting her up and giving her a kiss with his hand was pure Dean. Loved it, loved it, loved it.

I know a lot of people loved this one, and while I like it, I didn't love it, but I did love aspects and scenes from the episode. It was nice to see the guys on a hunt together, and that we got to see what happens when they go on a hunt, they eat, talk, tease each other, and even sleep in the car, not to mention "other things". It had a very early seasons vibe to it and I did really enjoy that, but I think the reason I didn't love it like everyone else, is because I started watching in S5 and I just enjoy more TFW episodes. (just my opinion) I did love seeing the following things, Sam's army man in the ashtray, the lego blocks in the heat vents, Sam and Dean initials scratched in the back of the rear seat. Sam and Dean having a real conversation that lasted more than 2 minutes, Can we have more of these Please?? Dean didn't fly off the handle when Sam said he had been infected, maybe Dean is growing more mature? Sam and Dean sleeping in Baby, how those 2 tall men fit in the car is beyond me. I did love how they got along so well in the episode, actually they got along well in the last couple of episodes, and it is fantastic to see that aspect again. It is also great to see Dean being more playful, I missed that so much last year. Some of the camera angles were really interesting, and it seems to me that we are getting more gore this season. Dean doing the 180, Jensen knows that car so well. Matt Cohen- I still don't know who he was supposed to be, but I am leaning more towards Lucifer, since he said " I never could fool you" It was great to see him and hear the Chuck introduction. Cas on the phone, being humorous and helpful at the same time, glad to see the guys were worried about him and each other. I love this show best when all the guys get along and work together towards fighting evil and helping humanity. I have noticed something and went back and watched the beginning of each episodes, and I think I have noticed the title card changing a little bit in each episode. I have noticed that each week it seems to have a little more each week (smoke, clouds, SPN logo moving more, etc.) I thought maybe it was just me, but I went back and watched it, and it does seem like it is changing, has anyone else noticed this?
