It seems like people in the music and acting fields are going one right after another these days so I thought that a chat to pay tribute to our favorites is appropriate.
This is a clip of my most favorite singer who is not here anymore. His going forward took place this past October.

P.S. I just wish that his passing is not what it had to take in order for me to realize who I had been missing out on all of this time when I remembered hearing a fair deal of his material when I was a kid. (severely ashamed of how late I myself am)

In memory of the legendary Merle Haggard
This is the first time that I know of someone going forward on their own birthday! I love to hear him sing "Pancho & Lefty" with the red headed stranger! For Merle to go now most definitely stands out for me because his son, Ben, actually placed his stamp of approval on a message that I left for the ACM award show powers that be this past Sunday night over at the Twitter website. I ordered them to learn how to remember our legends because during the show they didn't acknowledge any of the ones in country music that went forward this past year. May Merle's passing make them realize how important it really is to never forget those who paved the road the stars of today are walking on.

Prince is my all time favorite artist and I have been a fan for a long time. I love his music, personality and his performances. I admire him for not letting criticism stifle his creativity. When Warner Bros. convinced Prince to sign with them, he was the only artist they gave free reign to write and compose his own music. That was a huge honor and vote of confidence.
When I turned the TV on yesterday, MTV preempted their regular programming and showed Prince videos back-to-back for hours. That was a wonderful honor.

Anti, I agree with you about Prince, he was only a little older than I am and I listened to him for years, I will really miss him and his music.
I loved seeing all the videos again, I wish we could see more videos on MTV and VH1 like they used to do.
Btw, I think Purple Rain is only on a couple of time over the weekend, but I heard that some theatres will be showing it also this weekend.

Well legendary actor Gene Wilder went forward over the weekend. I wouldn't call him one of my favorites, but I won't deny that his chocolate factory film had a presence in my childhood either. To me his singing in that film wasn't bad. "Come with me and you'll be in a world of pure imagination..."

P.S. Besides the chocolate factory film, the only other film starring Gene that I have watched is the one named See No Evil, Hear No Evil. I thought that it was funny. I have heard that his Stir Crazy film is funny too.

The newest singer in country music to go forward is 80’s female singer Holly Dunn best known for her song named “Daddy’s Hands”. “Love Someone Like Me”, “Only When I Love”, and “Are You Ever Going To Love Me” are my most favorite songs from her. She was only 59.
