Sadly country singer Joe Diffie went forward today from the Corona sickness. Go here for the news. I got to meet him at my one and only CMA Music Festival in 2000 which was named Fan Fair at the time and again in 2007 when he came here to my area. A beautiful man Joe was. Sadly I am having a problem getting my favorite picture of me and him together up here and so in the mean time, here is one of his best songs in my opinion. God bless you and his family always!!! Holly P.S. I pray that his 1992 Music City News award show performance of "The Ships That Don't Come In" is somewhere online again someday soon because it is awesome!!!

This is my mom and me with Joe at my one and only CMA Music Festival in 2000 which was known as Fan Fair at the time. God bless you and his family and the rest of his fan base always!!! Holly P.S. I have a picture of us together when I saw him in 2007, but it was taken with one of them instant cameras and so the shot isn't as good as this one is.

Go here for both a recent clip and write up on Joe. God bless you and his family always!!! Holly P.S. It is very much appreciated how much has been shared about Joe, especially when maybe at the end of the day, the family doesn't owe the fans much if anything at all. I do remember hearing Joe say on the radio years ago that the fans are who keep celebrities going and so if I have ever overstepped in any way by caring about my favorites so much to where I may ask about things that might be private, I do apologize. To me, people as wonderful as Joe deserve all of the thought and respect in the world, especially when respect is what comes from people like him first.

The newest person to go forward is country singer Doug Supernaw who had three big songs in the 90s named "Reno", "Not Enough Hours In The Night" and "I Don't Call Him Daddy" which was the only one that went all the way. He was 60 years old and cancer is what gets the evil eye once again.
God bless you and his family always!!!
Holly
P.S. "Reno" was my favorite song from him.

Because today was recently labeled Charlie Daniels Day, here is my most favorite of his videos. Why this one? One of most favorite singers happens to be a part of the collaboration and sadly just like Charlie, he was another one of the many that we had to let go of last year too, I miss Hal Ketchum so much!!! Thankfully the other singer in the video is still here with us, I love John Berry too.
God bless you and John always!!!
Holly (a day one fan of Hal)

The newest person to go forward is country singer from the 1990s Jeff Carson. A heart attack is what took him and what's worse is his only being 58 years old. This song went all the way to #1 for him in 1995.

What I love so much about Wynonna is her ability to crack a really good joke even if it isn't her true intention. I love her honesty and how she doesn't candy coat anything.
God bless you and her and Ashley always!!!
Holly
P.S. I want to put my arms around Ashley when she is given her mother's medal.
