Looks like fun (except for the people who get their hearts ripped out).

Dean told the truth…no jokes, no lies, just the painful truth. It was so good to hear him tell Sam who appeared to him. Then Sam’s response made it even better. He was not surprised and he is not judging Dean. They both understand that there is nothing Dean can do to control the attraction. I think it is an important revelation that when Dean is separated from Amara, the attraction is less powerful than his desire to destroy the Darkness. It is only in proximity to her that he cannot assert his will.
The MOTW was interesting. Since it was not a shape shifter, I do not really understand how it manifested itself into someone solid enough to smash through walls. But it must have been alive once because it had a heart and Sam destroyed it at the last possible moment. Cut it a little too close for me.

An OK episode, just not really that interesting a story.
I agree with Anti that the best parts of the episode were with Dean and Sam: in the MOL bunker; at the scene of the crime; at the hotel and especially at the end when Dean finally told Sam about his strange "attraction" to the Darkness. "Not love!" Thank goodness he recognizes that the pull has to do with his having had the MOC and her having it now. And Sam was perfect in his response. But when Dean left the room, he looked a little less sure of himself.
The guest actors were just not that appealing and the woman who plays Amara has a real "boob sag" problem. Sorry, but it's true. Why do they think it's sexy to see boobs hanging down like a baseball in the foot of a sock. She could do with some "uplift."
Hope next week's story is better.

I forgot to mention that something else stood out during Dean and Sam conversations. Sam volunteered that he would take on the Amara issue because of the link between Amara and Dean. It surprised me that Dean acquiesced so quietly, but that certainly ties into

The story was so-so, it was ok, nothing really memorable about this one, except for the fact that Dean won RPS, and he told Sam what was going on with him.
I would have liked to seen Dean talk a little m9ore about the hold that Amara has on him, but at least he did tell about it, so that is a step in the right direction.
SoCal- I totally agree with you about Amara, I hate to see a woman look like that, it is not attractive at all.
It was cute to see Dean look so pleased with himself when he won.
