Last night, I was tired and decided to watch the episode today. Then I saw Lisa's post and decided to see what Michonne had done. Well...I was certainly shocked! Good for her. I thought she was waiting for Carl to grow up. It was a good episode. I expected to see them dealing with the cleanup and I am glad they jumped two months ahead. Rick and Daryl had the most comical supply run I have seen and that was before they ran into Jesus. Doc was so awkward when Daryl asked her why she wanted the pop. Then he drank most, if not all, of it. Daryl's I-am-not-at-all-interested expression made me laugh when Eugene was explaining the merits of sorghum. Then Rick played that rock-a-billy music in the car while Daryl groaned. They were having great luck until they ran into that Jesus character and he was almost too much for them. Jesus is an awesome character although I do not know if he can be trusted. Spencer was certainly mysterious about why he was in the woods and carrying a shovel. Even after Carl acted in a puzzling manner, I did not guess why they were acting that way. I thought we heard a shot ring out right before the group exited the house dressed in walker attire, but it must not have meant what I thought it did. That was a nice homey picture of Carl and Judith like we would see in any normal household. Judith is adorable. So is Carl in his own way. He still has empathy in spite of what he has endured. He did one of the most thoughtful things anyone could do. I have always been a fan of Carl even when he was a little brat and I am so proud of the way he has grown up. Now all we need is another young lady to give Enid some competition.

Good episode. Really enjoyed Rick/Darryl in their no so successful provision run. Although Rick did tell Michonne he had a case of spearmint toothpaste in a crate at the bottom of a lake. I wonder if they'll go back for it.
I wonder where that jesus character came from? Negan's group? Another group we haven't seen yet? Rick was right. His beard was neat and clean. He could be trouble, and he has amazing fighting skills.
I knew before zombie Deanna showed up that that was what Spencer was doing looking around with a shovel strapped to his back. Nice of Carl to lead her to him.
Carl is so grown up. He hasn't gone wild or crazy, he's become quietly strong. And to think in season 1 I wanted him GONE.
Not surprised by Michonne/Rick hook up. Did anyone else notice that Rick isn't wearing his wedding ring anymore? They've been close for a long time and after Alexandria was almost destroyed, it's only natural they would turn to each other. Funny how they both leaped, naked, from the bed when jesus woke them up. I wonder how he keeps getting loose? Again, that makes me think he may be part of Negan's group. They looked pretty well equipped before Darryl turned them into road kill.
Next week looks a bit less relaxing for them and us.

I did not notice the ring was gone, but removing it does make sense. Yep, I certainly did notice how they leaped, naked, from the bed, and I watched that leap about 4 times. Rick said Daryl stayed behind to watch jesus and I am concerned how jesus got free. When Doc motioned for Abraham to follow her, I wondered if Daryl was hurt. p.s. Using a small "j" for jesus for that character is clever.

Anti, in the very beginning of the episode, you just see some hands moving things on a bureau. It takes minute for the camera to pull away to show us that it's Rick. But we do get a good look at his hands.......especially his left hand. And the wedding ring is gone. I wonder if it will stay that way?
And yes, I am not going to capitalize the "J" in our new arrival's name. Especially since I have an inkling that he's going to turn out to be bad news.

They add charismatic men who turn out to be devious and untrustworthy, like the Governor, but I must say jesus would be a terrific ally if he could be trusted. He has skills: pickpocket (Rick's keys), escape artist, acrobat (caught up and jumped on roof of truck), hand-to-hand combat, cool under pressure, and a smooth liar. I wonder if he could take that stick away from Morgan...just wondering, not hoping. He said his name is Paul Rovia. Was he in the comics? He should take note of the sign on the fence. "MERCY FOR THE LOST/VENGEANCE FOR THE PLUNDERERS"

I think he can be trusted. I STILL don't trust Enid although it now seems like Maggie has taken her in like a stray animal. Just don't like her

Even though Enid was talked into helping Glen, I still think she is a royal pain.
I am routing for jesus to be trustworthy because I would enjoy seeing him every week.
