From last week's somewhat serious episode to a funny episode. Guess Dean doesn't stay sad for long........

After some encouragement from Dean to go to a wrestling match, Sam seemed to enjoy the matches also. Dean was such a fan boy; he wanted to catch the keepsake that the wrestler always throws to children. Worthy of mentioning is the fact that Sam’s recollection of John W taking his sons to a match was not as pleasant a memory as Dean’s. Dean handled that pretty well by cutting Sam off and asking him to not spoil one of the good memories of John.
Hell certainly needs a supervisor. Otherwise, demons ignore the rules and create more carnage than they are generally allowed to do. A demon decided to delay taking a wrestler’s soul when the ten years were up, but he made the man help him collect souls and made him kill people who refused to make an agreement with the demon. The agreements are supposed to be voluntary and sealed with a kiss. I recall that in the episode where Becky tricked Sam into marrying her, Crowley showed no mercy to the demon who was behind the plot.
I do not want to ever see Crowley licking a floor again. I thought we were getting our Crowley back when he (mysteriously) held the HOG and said he perfected the double-cross. When the power was expended on demon Simmons, Crowley was smart to pull a disappearing act before Casifer could capture him.
Meanwhile, the intrepid Winchester boys solved the case of the deaths occurring near the wrestling matches, but they seemed to be no match for one little demon. The demon referred to the LA 10 and Kansas 5. I guess those are sports teams but I am not sure. After a wrestler helped to save the boys, I could hear those dreaded hell hounds. They are so scary.
It was nice to see the guys have some fun for a little while and to hear Dean's plan to keep grinding, save Cas, ice the devil and shank the Darkness.
March 23 episode looks ominous.

Another good stand alone episode.
Watching Crowley and Casifer spar was great. I wonder how long Crowley will stay free?
The wrestling didn't really interest me but I thought they got there reasonably: having spent lots of time trying to find ways to beat the devil and kill Amara, they really needed a break. Too bad that break was to attend a funeral. Both Dean and Sam's reactions to meeting some childhood heroes was priceless.
Too bad the good wrestler had to die.
Can't believe we're going to have to wait 4 weeks for the next episode. At least there's TWD to keep us sated.

It wasn't bad, there were some good moments in it.
I am happy to see Crowley away from Casifer, this is the Crowley I want to see, I much prefer when he is out maneuvering everyone else and gaining for himself. I hated seeing him in that awful outfit and acting as if he was scared, thought with Lucifer around, I guess he would have to.
I think Misha does a great job as Lucifer, but I want Cas back.
I found the guys excitement over wrestling both funny and odd, It was odd because they both have so much on their plate and have had so many bad blows, and I wondered how could they act that carefree?
But is was nice and funny to see Sam act embarrassed around Rio, the different looks on his face when she asked him that was great, form shaking it off, to humiliation and then back to nonchalant. Dean was almost over the top and I found that strange, but loved him in the ring. I also loved how he was so steadfast in his resolve to get Cas back, put Lucifer back and kill Amara. I hope that is what we see.
