The quote game for an episode that will focus mainly on the female characters: Carol; Maggie and a savior:
1- "It doesn’t matter what happens to me" 2- "No, walkers do that. I’m choosing something else" 3- "You will die" 4- "Children are our future" 5- "Guys can’t handle pain" 6- "What does that mean ?" 7- "Talk to me" 8- "You good ?" 9- "We have to finish this, we have to" 10- "Do you really believe in that crap ?"

Here goes nothing…
1- "It doesn’t matter what happens to me" Polly 2- "No, walkers do that. I’m choosing something else" a savior man 3- "You will die" Maggie 4- "Children are our future" Carol 5- "Guys can’t handle pain" a savior woman 6- "What does that mean ?" Abraham 7- "Talk to me" Glenn 8- "You good ?" Rosita 9- "We have to finish this, we have to" Rick 10- "Do you really believe in that crap ?" Daryl
I just realized that the couple who stole Daryl’s bike must have bumped into Negan’s crew again. I will not recognize them so if anyone sees them, please mention it. I wonder if they were in the snapshots that were on the wall.

I guess the crossbow was not in the armory. I hope our ladies do not become members of Negan's harem. 5 hours to showtime.

I can't figure these women out.. They're working for negan so they must be bad. But the one woman seems like there's more to it..

This episode has me even more concerned for carol. I really think she'll be the one to take Glenn's place

I should have taken the hint that it was about women.
1- "It doesn’t matter what happens to me" Polly Carol 2- "No, walkers do that. I’m choosing something else" a savior man Maggie 3- "You will die" Maggie Carol 4- "Children are our future" Carol Paula (sarcastically) 5- "Guys can’t handle pain" a savior woman Paula 6- "What does that mean ?" Abraham Carol 7- "Talk to me" Glenn ‘Chelle 8- "You good ?" Rosita Daryl 9- "We have to finish this, we have to" Rick Maggie 10- "Do you really believe in that crap ?" Paula

The episode was mesmerizing and kept me wondering how our ladies would escape. My favorite scenes were the way Carol pretended to be weak. When she started to hyperventilate, I got excited because I knew we were going to get a great performance from her. The performance with the crucifix was really good too and convinced Paula that Carol was not worth being concerned about.
Paula, ‘Chelle and Molls were excellent and I enjoyed watching them. Maggie was uncharacteristically violent during the fight scenes. Even though Maggie and Carol had to do what they did to survive, the Kill Room fire will leave a scar on their psyche.
Rick was too quick on the draw when he killed the savior because they need information. Apparently they are trained to identify themselves as “Negan”, but we know there is a big boss.
Aw…the Daryl-Carol hug was so sweet. He cares about her and we will not tell him that she slept with Tobin.
We did not lose anyone in the episode.
Would Rick have killed the women if they agreed to the exchange? I think there was a 50-50 chance, but I am sure he would have killed Donnie and Molls.

I am still in recovery mode after watching "The Same Boat." Carole was AWESOME. From pretending to be hyperventilating, to becoming a religious weakling, to helping Maggie to escape.....she's just great. Maggie seemed to be completely out of whack. I couldn't tell if she was just playing off Carole or was truly worried that Carole was going off the deep end. I was worried for a while that the guy Carole shot was going to kill her, but the 3 other Saviors kept him at bay while he slowly died. The one Savior, the one who was questioning Maggie alone, seemed the least evil of them all. Too bad she had to die, too. I think Carole was seeing herself in Paula; a woman who lived for a man then got rid of him, left her family and became a cold-blooded killer. I think Carole was trying to keep herself from becoming that by telling Paula to "just run." Just from this episode I'm seeing that the Saviors are a LARGE group that are very disciplined and have worked out a network of keeping in touch. From changing channels to warehouses full of weapons, they are a much scarier group than the governor's Woodbury citizenry. It was such a relief to see Glenn and Maggie and Carole and Daryl. Great reunion. Liked how they answered the "Are you ok?' question. Why do all the Saviors say "We are all Negan?" Why did the last Savior say "I am Negan?" Is that part of the Saviors indoctrination? I'm getting very nervous as we inch toward the season finale. This group of baddies is going to be a real test of our group. Who will survive? Who will die? I'm not sure I want to know.
