YAY!! I watched the whole show and saw the announcement for best sci-fi/fantasy show but I had to jump online to see if we won the best network drama and squeed when I saw we did!! We rock and I'm so happy for Jared and Jensen and for all the fans!! BEST FANDOM EVER!! clif tweeted earlier that the reason jared/jensen didn't go to pca's is cuz they weren't invited..can u believe that? That's total BS! I hate the way our boys are so disrespected! I love the fact that the fans prove everyone else wrong! |

we've been tweeting the crap out of the pca (and on fb), and letting them know just how we feel about their deliberate snub. according to cliff (bodyguard4jandj), none of them are too happy about the snub either. he said that the boys werent even invited. so if you have twitter of fb, let the pca know they pissed off the wrong fandom.  |

 I'm thrilled, and proud, but also disgusted with the PCAs for not inviting anyone from the show to the awards and not including best drama in the live show for the first time in 38 years, just because our small show beat their big network darlings   According to Clif the boys are not happy about it at all. Can't blame them.

I was expecting them to announce at least Best Drama, they have ALWAYS announced Best Drama.
Even IF they boys were busy or couldn't be there to accept their award or something for whatever reason, they should have at least been invited!
Least they could've done would've been to air their acceptance speech to the crowd, especially considering they won 2 AWARDS, meanwhile you have Adam Sandler and his ridiculously stupid speech insulting his teachers that went on for far too long.

I'm thrilled that the SPN won the two awards.
But, like others, am not sure why they didn't even say who won Best Drama. I mean, they did Best Comedy, why not Best Drama.
Heck, I don't really watch comedy's anyways, only Drama's and yet they snub the Drama's. How rude.
I like the fact that the PCA's keep to their 2 hour TV allotment unlike most of the other Award Shows that tend to run 30 to 60 minutes longer.
That being said, I think they need to re-examine which Awards people actually want to see. Such as: Best Drama, Best Comedy, Best Movie, Best Actor/Actress for Drama and Comedy, etc. Then during the telecast have sections where a host will rattle off the Awards for Best Talkshow, Best Reality Show, etc. In other words, the less important ones. No offense to Ellen, but I didn't really need to see her win again. They could have just said she did. Or better yet, have her present a award and when she's walking out, have the announcer say she won for Best Talkshow Host.

Either that or just make the ceremony longer, what's the harm of making it longer and inviting all the potential winners.
I'm sure there were hundreds of people invited, that really didn't need to be there in the audience and yet SPN didn't even get invited.

My stupid DVR only taped like an hour of the People Choice Awards and not even the hour I wanted. As I was driving in to work the Radio TV show I listen too annouced that Supernatural won Best Drama I did a happy dance while driving not super safe but hey it was 6:15AM no one on the road anyway.  Thanks for the YouTube link so I guess neither of the boys could make it to the show that too bad. But hey they are taping us new episode so I can't be mad or anything.  Congrats to SPN!!! |

That is a great article and covers all of my questions and resentments. The only reason I watched that award show was because we spent minutes, hours, and days voting for Supernatural. I see I was naive in thinking that if SPN won Best Drama, we would receive a lot of attention and be showcased. PCA gave us the worst snub I have ever seen. The article points out that if The Good Wife had won, the award would have been presented live. I am thrilled that we won two awards. But I wish there was some way we could punish the network or producers for snubbing Jared and Jensen. I watched the red carpet segment live so I saw their acceptance tape. It was cute the way they thanked their moms for voting so many times. Edit: P.S. I want to give a shout out to Person of Interest for winning NEW drama. That's the other one I wore my fingers out for and my "signature line" is from that series. |

Well, I'm going to avoid watching CBS shows. Those bastards. I used to think PCA didn't matter than much. But now, I just can't believe CBS will get away with such an obvious, petty snub. So many fans killed themselves over this.  |

I was so happy for Jensen and Jared and the rest of the cast and crew. The video they did showed that they weren't exactly happy that they weren't accepting the awards on stage but have to do it while they are working on set. Their expression showed happiness yet bitterness.
Though I don't think it was in the right of Clif to post that J and J were extremely upset and pissed off because look at the catastrophe that, that has created. It was a total snub that they couldn't receive the awards on stage, but they still won and they won inn the hands of dedicated fans who voted their fingers off. I think that should have been praised and congratulated more, than people forgetting that and focusing on what Clif the bodyguard said. Because than we had Clif say one thing that they weren't invited, yet than we had a pap say that Jared said that they were, than Jensen later on saying they were invited also. I don't think they were invited to accept the awards, but because they won they were invited to sit in the audience. Off course who would want to sit in the audience after being snubbed? NOBODY WOULD. So both J and J declined and they had every right to do so. But to be honest, that was an invite in my book, not the most honest and good way to be invited, but they were invited to sit in the audience.
