We're edging ever closer to the end of the season..........did god make his appearance too soon? What does he have to discuss with Dean and Sam?

I wonder who she thinks is "not worth sparing". When she lovingly caresses Dean's cheek, will that put him under Amara's spell? Oh...the horror!

I enjoyed the episode. If I did not know there was another season, I would be suspicious about why they are still cleaning up the loose ends. There was a lot of debate about what happened to Kevin. We now know he was in the veil and Chuck let him move on. It is gratifying that Kevin demonstrated no animosity toward Dean and Sam.
There is another prophet who has a Ninja Turtle name. But it seems Amara inadvertently caused the activation. The prophets become aware at the worst possible times and they barely have any time to adjust. But the new prophet is blessed that he met God and knows what is at stake. I think he was brave and handled the shock pretty well.
Metatron took one for the team, but I do not know what exactly became of him after Amara zapped him. Wow…I had to laugh at the way Sam spun the wheels and peeled rubber getting out of Dodge. He was not playing around. I also laughed when we saw a close up of the car’s tags because those are the same tags that were on the FBI’s most wanted list. But they have bigger problems than the FBI.
So Chuck is not suicidal. He is willing to be locked away in exchange for Amara sparing the world. I am not certain Dean was able to convince him that Amara is too angry to agree to that sacrifice, but Plan H did work to free Lucifer. I am so glad Chuck cleaned Casifer up because he was looking awful. I was expecting something more from the Father-Son reunion than a stare. (Chuck was not responsible for turning Lot’s wife into a pillar of salt.)
I get a trifle nauseous at the way Amara stares at Dean. It is terribly selfish of her to want Dean to become “a part of her” forever. She does not understand humanity at all and Dean is mentally stronger than most. That is good because although the angels could invade Dean’s dreams, Amara can communicate with him when he is awake.

It stormed here all evening and the cable went out just as SPN came on, so I only got to see a total of 90 seconds. I will see if I can watch online and the come back here and review.

This is the first episode I've seen in a long time. Whoa. Chuck IS God! We've always suspected it, but its official now! Too short of a scene with Chuck and Casifer. Actually, it looked like a last minute edit. Grrr. Will SOMEBODY just kill Amara...please! Find a way damn it. I hate her even more than Ruby 2.0!

Here's a smile for Sam for acting the same way I would have if I was talking to God. Kudos to Dean for being honest with Chuck when he said: "Here's the thing, um, Chuck. And I mean no disrespect. Um, I'm guessing you came back to help with the Darkness, and that's great. That's, you know, fantastic. But you've been gone a long, long time, and there's so much crap that has gone down on the earth for thousands of years. I mean the plagues and wars, slaughters, and you were... I don't know, writing books? Going to fan conventions? Were you even aware or did you just tune it out?" "Well from where I sit, it feels like you left us and you're trying to to justify." I love the reference to fan conventions and Jensen said that with a straight face.

I enjoyed the episode, although, when you look back at it, not a whole lot happened.
Guck (god + Chuck) did a piss poor job of explaining why he hasn't intervened on Earth in a millennia, and seem very unconcerned about what was happening.
Sam's questions for Guck were great as was Dean's criticisms of his hands off policy. I didn't like when Guck referenced John. John NEVER left his kids. He was thrown into a horrible situation by his wife being a hunter, something he never knew about, and raised them well. And trained them to be warriors. Seems like he did a better job than others would have. John was a happy husband and father until fate threw him into the hunters life. Suck it Guck!
It was interesting to see how Amara can just appear to Dean now. Why then doesn't she just invade the MOL bunker? Can't she feel her brother there?
The first time the boys spoke with Metatron they were driving somewhere. I have no idea why or to where they were driving.
"Thousands die" in another Amara fog attack? Wouldn't that have generated a 9/11 type response from the government?
Liked Donatello. He reminds me of Frank. I wonder if we'll be seeing him next season.
Then ending was weird. How did Dean get away from Amara? I guess she just left him when she went back to smite Metatron for releasing Casifer.
Will Lucifer stay in Cas? That poor vessel must be close to wearing out.
I think we're headed for a major season ending cliff hanger......and I hope it doesn't involve Dean becoming part of Amara.

If any one of those things is true at the end of the finale, I will be grinding my teeth. The least onerous would be Lucifer continuing to use Cas' vessel, but only because Misha is doing a good job. I do not mind cliff hangers, but it would depend on how it ends. Dean becoming a part of Amara would be a deal breaker for me. No way would I want to see that. This is the first episode I've seen in a long time. Whoa. Chuck IS God! We've always suspected it, but its official now! I hope you get around to watching the previous episode (11.20 Don't Call Me Shurley) where we learned Chuck is God. It is excellent.

They used to have the CW On Demand but either its changed now, or I'm doing it wrong.

I had not noticed that so I just checked and The CW does not have On Demand on the east coast either. That sucks because we have more glitches during The CW programs than all the other networks combined.

Hi, I finally got to see it and it wasn't too bad, considering the bad writers wrote it. Before I begin, I also don't have CW on Demand and I am in MO. So maybe the CW isn't on there at all? Not sure, I never use it anyway. I thought maybe it was just my local CW affiliate, I am in C.S.T. and they hold all the CW primetime shows hostage for an hour here and I can't watch till 9 Central time. Aeryn- I am with you-Amara needs to go away now. I loved seeing KEVIN again, I have really missed him, I only wish he got to stay longer. My question about that-was his getting an upgrade the "lever" that started the prophets again? I liked Donatello, I found the bit in the car when Dean and Sam talking to him very matter of fact about God, and Amara and Lucifer, and him trying to get out of the car and Sam and Dean tell him it is locked because sometimes they have monsters back there. I enjoyed seeing "Holtz" from Angel again, he was perfect on there, I hope he last for a while here. I was glad to see Metatron help and care about God and humanity, I wonder if he is dead or just in the empty, he didn't explode so it makes me wonder? Metatron is kind of like Gadreel, they both were kind of bad and then redeemed themselves at the end. All season I have been wondering what the bond is between Dean and Amara, and I still don't know and kind of don't care, she is a cartoon, one dimensional entity. Yeah, she has power, but it is just creepy to see her and Dean together. Baby and passengers landing in the bunker and Donatello yelling "what happened" reminded me of Kevin.
