We can see the end of the season through the hellfire.....what are our boys up to to defeat Amara? Will Guck help? Will Casifer?

The episode ended and I am so irritated that I cannot give a fair assessment. I will just give my reactions while watching this episode.
Amused – Lucifer was being a resentful son while God tried to talk to him. When Lucifer went to “his” room, Chuck said “Kids!”
Grateful – God would not let Lucifer harm the Winchesters.
Disappointed – Crowley did not rip out the demon’s tongue for disrespecting him.
Pleased – Dean’s expression when Lucifer pouted and left the room. The way Dean said “The end is freakin’ nigh.”
Amused – Sam and Dean as the mediators.
Fascinated – Lucifer and God discussed the mark and why Lucifer was locked away. Hearing it from both of their viewpoints was great.
Very amused at the Winchesters’ philosophy on apologies. Sam nervously told God that Lucifer was right and just wanted an apology. Dean agreed and said: “The great thing about apologies is you don’t have to mean them. I lie and tell Sam I’m sorry all the time.” God rightfully zapped them to the peanut gallery.
Alarmed and amused at the reception Lucifer received in heaven. Every angel approached with a threatening angel blade.
Love – Castiel’s sincere explanation of how he felt subordinating himself to Lucifer and Cas asking for the angels’ help.
Laugh out loud – After Dean talked about killing/not killing Amara, the way Casifer said “That got weird” was just too funny.
Pissed off – Amara tortured the prophet Donatello.
Amused again – When Dean showed concern for Cas, Lucifer rolled his eyes and replied sarcastically, “Don’t worry. Your pet’s safety is my highest concern.”
Impressed with the witches and demons attacks on Amara. We have not seen the demons attack like that in a long time.
Disappointed – I hate the rest of the episode.
*** God cooking pancakes for his sons was a loving touch.
Nod to “Full House”, “Game of Thrones”, “Band of Brothers”, “X Factor”
Crowley’s “We can make hell great again.”

I'm halfway through. Really LOVE Misha's portrayal of Castiel/Lucifer!! He's definitely got Pellegrino's mannerisms down. So enjoyable.
Commercial is done!! Back to the show.
I wish the attacks against Amara had lasted LONGER!!! It was pretty cool! Uh oh. Commercials over. Back to the show again.
THAT WAS IT?!! Really? Talk about an anti-climax. I've suddenly lost interest. Again. Damn this show, it can be so uneven!! Cheesy performance by Amara. Chuck on the floor...and I actually don't care what happens next.
Jared's acting hasn't improved over the years. He has about four stock expressions. He's nowhere near as gifted as Jensen. Never has been. Maybe after the show ends, he can find employment in another field.

I was really enjoying it until Amara grabbed Chuck. I visualize the producers sitting in the writing room: Producers: Okay writers, make the fans happy by giving Misha a real purpose and let's bring Chuck back. Make them ecstatic by making Chuck GOD. Writers: Great! Let's throw in the Samulet. They will go wild. This will be a great way to end the season. Producers: Uh...we don't let the fans be happy at the end of seasons. You're going to kill Chuck and GOD. Writers: But...but...we will be blamed and the fans will tweet nasty things to us. Yep!

So at the end of the episode, I was mad, and depressed and disappointed in this one. There were a few humorous moments and some really good special effects, but seriously I hated a few things in it. Can Amara be gone already? I just want to fast forward thru her scenes but I did enjoy watching the angels, witches demons, Crowley and Lucifer kick the crap out of her, I think Lucifer and Crowley hurt her more than anything else. Nitpick- how can Amara who has just been beat down and stabbed by Lucifer suddenly beat the crap out of Chuck? He was fine and yet he folds like a napkin, WTH! I am asking again, Can someone please explain it to me the bind/bond/attraction/whatever it is, between Dean and Amara? I. don't. Get. It. I did like Lucifer "taking over" Sam's room, I did enjoy the Winchester counseling efforts. I loved the talk between God and Lucifer, and wish we would have gotten to see the talk between God and Sam. I wish we could have gotten to hear more from Cas, and I kind of think that He is back alone in his vessel after Amara got rid of Lucifer, based on the special effects of that scene, it looked very much like Mark P.'s face. I hated that Amara hurt Donatello GRRR. I really disliked the end, how depressing was that.

It would be funny if Castiel took over Lucifer's vessel. More acting for Misha!! Yes please!!

OK, just watched the episode and was left.........uh........wanting. I knew things would go sideways once they decided Chuck wasn't a "prophet of the Lord," as Castiel introduced him, but god. While some of his interactions with Casifer have been good and some with Dean and Sam have been good, where else could the show go? I mean, once god decides to step in, of what use are Dean, Sam and all the other hunters? If god decides he's just going to let Amara take him out, then the show ends because Dean and Sam and the rest of the world is dead. So god changes his mind (again) and decides to trap her. And then...............we find out god isn't omnipotent..............he can't trap her by himself, he needs help. god needs help??? And included in that help are a demon (formerly the KOH) and a witch (a pagan) ?? And Casifer thinks he can persuade "the heavenly host" to help him? ?? Dean looked really conflicted during the fight. Is he still drawn to Amara? Why can't god fix that? What about the transfer of the MOC? Why does it have to go to Sam? Why not to an angel like Michael who is already in bad shape and locked up. How does Rowena survive being beaten down by Amara, but her coven all die? Not even her make up was ruined. What happened to Crowley? Frankly, I felt let down by the whole episode. Bringing god into the mix just makes everyone else trying to save humanity from monsters irrelevant. I hope next week is better, but from the looks of it Dean is going to end up in some sort of Amara hell.

SoCal, True, not even her pancake makeup as out of place. That is an excellent point about Michael, and one that would be a good way to control it. Dean in Amara Hell- I think we are all in Amara Hell I forget to say I also loved Rowena telling Sam she would turn him into an actual Moose, please let it happen just for a second, that would be awesome!

Buffy- If you want a couple of good episodes, watch Hell's Angel for Casifer, and to see a better acting job from Jared watch Red Meat.
Jared can be better when he is given more to work with, I thought he was really good in RM. Or watch Just my Imagination, it is funny and sweet.

Amara- Hell ...poor Dean.
Who exactly are supposed to be "the happy few"? Not the Winchesters or anyone else in that episode seemed happy to me. I guess the title is ironic, but I do not know the reference from which it was taken.

Maybe God warded her the same way he warded Sam. Now that Sam has the MOC, does Amara automatically go to her cell? I do not understand how she was able to control God after she grabbed him.

Anti, I think the mark faded from Sam's arm and reappeared on Amara as she took control.
And now that I think of it, maybe Amara let Rowena live because Amara told her that she had led her to god.
Still didn't care for the episode.
An un-omnipotent god screws up my world view.
