They certainly kept us guessing. I was afraid the last conversation was going to undo all the good and make things even worse. But the fact the house was dark wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Since the radio was broken no more conversations were possible, so I wonder if they only did that when it was clear that would be the finale.
