It's official - 'Wonder Woman’ Lynda Carter Joins ‘Supergirl’ as President of the United States It's official. Wonder Woman is a lesbian. I can't provide a link since I saw it in the actual Charlotte Observer, although I'm sure it would be easy to find. That doesn't mean she will be on the show.

Don't confuse me. The quote in my previous post could be interpreted as Wonder Woman being on the show, but the author was just reminding people of the role Lynda Carter played. It is my understanding that Lynda Carter will be on the show, but not Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman has a movie coming out in 2017. "THE writer of the reborn Wonder Woman comics has revealed that the character is gay. Greg Rucka has told Comicosity that since Wonder Woman comes from the fictional all-female island nation of Themyscira, she “has been in love and had relationships with other women”. article
*** I never doubted Wonder Woman was gay because she came from an all-female environment.

Supergirl was fun to watch. I was excited to see the lighthearted superman who greeted and shook hands with everyone at the military base. Someone on Twitter facetiously asked was he the president? It was funny the way Winn was overly excited to meet him and he gave a nod to the Superman movie when he asked about the earthquake.
Lex Luthor’s adopted sister was the target of attempted murder and the assassin kept trying. She is not a villain and she formed a cordial relationship with Kara. We will probably see her again even though her L Corp building was severely damaged.
Superman and Hank are not on friendly terms. That might be awkward when they ask Supergirl for assistance.
I never wanted Kara and Jimmy to be together, but it is unfair to Jimmy that she decided to ditch him after his relationship with Lucy was destroyed.
Cat has returned to calling Kara Keer-a, but she was kind and helped Kara to choose a career. There was no indication that Cat will be leaving soon.
I was really surprised that another Kryptonian would suddenly arrive in a pod and I have no clue what will happen.

This wasn't the best episode yet. I don't think any episode will be better than the pilot. But they have a great Superman. Just nerdy/clumsy enough when he is Clark but still confident looking when he's wearing the suit. He looks sort of like Dean Cain, who was never nerdy.
Taylor Swift has that new short do so I have to compare Supergirl to someone else. I noticed when she smiled how much she looked like Hilary Duff. I guess Hilary's hair looked like that at one time.
I like how Cat was so confident about Kara's potential. So this is why she put up with so much of what she viewed as incompetence. Now the poor replacement for Kara is crying ...
I saw Brenda Strong (the star of "Desperate Housewives", which has another connection since Dean Cain's Lois was Susan) in the credits. I don't know who she is, but on 'The 100" she was a villain who lasted only a few episodes.

Andrew Warren wrote an article which included this show. However, a subscription is required to read the TV section, or so I was told, where I saw it at the library. Another paper I see there does let people read its TV section without subscribing, but it only has the article on the front page. A Google search for anything written by Andrew Warren seems to come up empty.

I don't know who she is, but on 'The 100" she was a villain who lasted only a few episodes. The end scene showed Corben (the assassin) strapped to a table. The woman who talked to him is a scientist who turns him into Metallo. As she injected fluid into Corben, she said "Welcome to Cadmus."

Hank's action was justified. We have to have kryptonite to control the others. In fact, Superman might need to be controlled in some situation. I agree that Hank used good judgment in retaining the kryptonite..

Yes, it was a good episode. I do not think Jimmy and Kara will have another date.
Next week, they will have a tougher opponent.

She was never a bad girl on "Desperate Housewives". Of course, she was dead most of the time. As the narrator she would be neutral, I guess. I did look her up some years ago and she was a genuinely evil rich woman on "The Help" (not the be confused with the Viola Davis movie).
