Yes, the sneak peek looks wonderful and I am enthusiastic about season 12. Will not be long before the boys are back. I am glad Crowley has his mojo back because I miss his snark. "You are just an accent in a pants suit."

I will be happy to see the Alpha Vamp, as long as they don't kill him off, or they don't make him like he was last time, kind of like a pedophile.
I love that he is creepy, but not that kind of creepy.
What does everyone think of S12 so far? Good Bad or indifferent?

Ew, I had forgotten about Alpha Vamp and the children. I hope they skip over that history. I have enjoyed some of S12, but I wish Castiel would win a fight once in a while. (Heck, Kripke invited Misha to guest star in his new series and killed him off in 20 minutes. Misha had to tell his fans to calm down. ) The Mary arc is not as lame as I thought it would be. She is not the doting mother Dean remembered, but she is playing a vital role. Too bad that vital role will probably wind up putting her sons in even more danger. I enjoy seeing some of our favorites return. The BMOL are a force to be reckoned with. I trust them less than the angels and demons. How are you all feeling about the season?

I haven't really decided how I feel about it yet, it seems all over the place to me. I always like seeing Jody, I liked that episode, I liked seeing Gavin I think the show missed a real opportunity by not showing more of what he had been doing all by himself, and whether or not Crowley had kept an eye on him. ( after watching S9 KOTD this morning on TNT and seeing Gavin for the first time, I think it would have been great if we could have at least spent a few minutes seeing what he had done while he was out in the world.)
I agree with you Anti, I wish Cas would win some fights this year, or maybe not be so glum and be so self sacrificing all the time, geez all the guys have made mistakes and done things on an epic scale, these things blow over (in SPN) Plus all the family talk really makes me worried they are going to kill off Cas this year, I am not the only one that thinks that I have read multiple comments both saying yes and no they will kill him off this year. What happened to Cas who would tell the guys how good they were and be strong for them?
I don't know what to think about the BMOL, I just want everything to made open about that and then let the guys decide if they want to join or not. I think they could have done Mary's return way better than what they have, while it is great having a strong female presence on the show, he lack of interest in her boys it just so jarring and I know she has had to spend some time in the bunker and realize that the "family" has learned not to go against each other and keeping secrets is what causes more drama. Maybe she is trying to kill off as many bad things as she can so she can make the world better for her boys, but she had a chance to come back and be with them, take advantage of it, spend some time with them.

I agree with everything you said about Gavin and Mary. I had not given any thought to them killing Castiel (for real) this season. But the way the character has been used this season, it would put him out of his misery. I see no fire, no spark and...he could not track down a vampire that was tearing up a town. The Winchesters are set apart from the other hunters and they do need a friend. Castiel fits the role of friend, but he should not be lame. I love him but I do not like seeing him miserable.

I love Cas too, he was a big reason I started watching the show, along with seeing how GOOD this show was and Sam and Dean. This sad sack version of Cas is irritating to me and I hate it, while I loved 12.12 and the whole family declaration, I find it odd that they guys basically did nothing after Ramiel was dead to help Cas, other than sit with him, yea I know time was of the essence but when you have God on speed dial, I just thought they might have called in a favor.
I think the Winchesters need friends, or frenemies with Crowley and Rowena, I know hunting is rough, but it is like they kill off all of the angels, and now they kill off all the hunters, so now they will start on the friends and family killing off spree. We had that deep desperation in S7, that was depressing as all hell, I never want the show to be that dark again.
I would probably still watch the show if they killed him off, but I would not care as much about it, honestly this season is a little hard to like, it is just all over the place, maybe it will make more sense at the end of the season. Sorry for the rant.

I like "God on speed dial". They certainly do kill off the hunters and it would not do the guys much good to get close to any hunters. That would be like a death warrant for the hunter. I think Mary will not survive past this season. They might fool me, but I think something bad will happen to her.
I hope we get a satisfactory conclusion to all of this.

So now that S12 is over what did everyone think? I am in the camp that I was in the middle of the season, it was kind of all over the place, not a lot of coherent moves being made. I was just underwhelmed I guess you could say. My daughter who watches, but is not the fan I am, she even had issues with how it ended, she said it was like you weren't given anytime to breathe in between deaths, or time to grieve for the characters, she didn't like how it ended either.
I know a lot of people liked 12.22 and I liked that the Winchesters were together for it, but I don't feel anything for Mary, and unless something big happens I don't think I can muster enough energy to care about her.

I did not expect Mary to still be around at the end of the season. I do not think I mentioned that during an interview, Jensen said he was confused about why they brought Mary back. Then, he said it was because Jeffrey Dean Morgan was too busy. He is not usually that candid during interviews, but the audience laughed.
Killing both Crowley and Castiel sucked - really sucked. I doubt anyone appreciated the way the season ended.
The BMOL arc was okay to me, even though I did not like most of them. But Americans are not supposed to like stuffy UK folks anyway.
As much as I enjoy seeing Lucifer, I would trade him for the Crowley from the earlier seasons.

I agree to an extent about Lucifer and Crowley, but I would rather have Crowley than Lucifer anytime. Lucifer has been done and that should have been over with. I do think Mark P. does a great job as Lucifer but I liked the back and forth between Crowley and the Winchesters.
SoCal, What are your thoughts?
