I am used to see Kathy Bates in scary movies sometime but not this but I do wish her luck in this one.

Thanks, but watching another angsty teenage girl act out because she has issues makes me want to jump through the screen and do something drastic. They have some good stars and I am sure the girl will change, but I have no empathy for angry teens.
If you watch it, let me know if it is worth watching. I was annoyed by the girl on Revolution, but then she became one of my favorites. So there is always a chance I would like it.

I rented this movie about a month ago on my tablet and it was because I had read the book as a kid in school. The movie is decently made but it's definitely not like the book. They have changed certain aspects of the book like Gilly's social worker is a female and in the movie it is a male. Also certain bits of dialogue were omitted or changed like when Gilly meets her grandmother later on, she doesn't do the back and forth between her foster mom and her grandmother.
I was very disappointed because this was a very good book and yet the movie is poorly made due to the continuity and whatnot. I would say it's worth seeing once but not not more than once.
