I thought the shows were not coming on tonight because of the holiday and now I am 45 minutes late tuning in.
Also, I see an error in episode numbers above. I will check the listings and correct that.

"Gotham" just went from dark to pitch black. Poor Bruce Wayne.

I have a problem with the Ford commercials. They appear to have the actual characters, like so many Fox commercials, and yet these characters were in the past, at a time when there didn't seem to be an Internet but cell phones were already small. So new Fords can't exist in their world.

I do not understand whatever storyline the Ford commercials are supposed to have.

3.19 Heroes Rise: All Will Be Judged 5-22-17
Gordon and Bullock are in danger when they find a crystal owl that reveals the most coveted secrets of Gotham's underworld; Nygma and Penguin must work together to get out of a tricky situation. The most shocking thing about this episode is what Lee Thompkins did at the end. Somehow I missed that. I had to see it in the previously.

"Gotham" just went from dark to pitch black. Poor Bruce Wayne. Yeah. I didn't like it to begin with, but this is terrible. Couldn't they have saved Jim some other way? Couldn't they have found and stopped the bomb from going off? And I don't like seeing Bruce in this position. I think Kathy Griffin watched this series and "Scandal". I actually liked seeing Fish come back. I liked what Ivy was wearing, at least from the back.

I agree with all of that.
Now for the season finale...

I was on an emotional roller coaster during the finale, torn between hating it one moment and cheering a few minutes later. The good moments were very good, but the bad moments really sucked. Dr. Strange has been captured and released more times than fish in the sea. He is the only one who knew how to make the antidote to the virus and that made it necessary to keep him alive. Although I do not enjoy torture scenes, I was glad Penguin gave Strange a jolt from his own gadget. Jim Gordon was doing a pretty good job of controlling the virus, but using his superior strength brought him closer and closer to the virus taking over. Jim unintentionally stabbed Mooney and the virus antidote smashed. I think Fish is gone permanently this time. Through it all, Harvey kept careful watch over Jim and never gave up on him. I am glad Jim and Lee are no longer infected, but I do not care than she is gone for a while. That relationship had become difficult to watch. Oswald and Nygma played a game of who has the upper hand and who will kill the other. Oswald’s cleverness trumped Nygma’s smarts. Oswald’s club, The Iceberg Lounge, now has a very interesting showcase. Barbara’s relationship with Tabitha and Butch had become adversarial and came to a tragic end. Barbara shot Butch in the head and delivered his hand to Tabitha. Tabitha was very upset about that and killed Barbara (in self-defense). We later saw Butch on life support in a hospital and learned his birth name is Cyrus Gold, who later became Solomon Grundy. Link to article about Solomon GrundyLater, Selina showed up and Tabitha told her Barbara would not be returning. When Tabitha saw Selina eying the whip, she told her to give it a whirl. Selina’s instant skill with the whip was impressive. She is close to becoming Cat Woman. Alfred is as loyal to Bruce as Harvey is to Jim. Alfred did everything he could to break the mind control. Ra’s Al Ghul told Bruce to kill Alfred and he stabbed him with a sword. I was horrified and ready to vow never to watch the series again, but they saved Alfred. Bruce and Alfred expressed their love and respect for each other. I liked the scene where Bruce beat up the robber and stood on the roof top strong and confident. As Bruce stood there, a spotlight scrolled past. Batman is born.

Yeah. I found Dr. Strange funny. And I enjoyed scenes with Penguin.
I wouldn't have been happy if Alfred had died. I don't understand what Bruce did, but I'm glad it worked.
I didn't follow what was happening with Tabitha, Butch and Barbara.
I'm not sure who is prettier, good Lee or bad Lee. I like good Lee better but I was happy for a while with bad Lee.
Harvey has been a voice of reason through everything.
I'm so glad they found a cure.
It is clear we now have the origins of Batman.
On a related note, the episode of "The Goldbergs" I saw this week was about Adam and Pops disagreeing about whether Adam West TV episodes or Michael Keaton's Batman was better. It's confusing when they seem to be able to watch any TV episode any time. That was in the 1980s. There was a chance a VHS tape would have been available, but in one scene I don't think the TV was hooked up to anything. There must have actually been reruns of the old Batman series airing.

I wouldn't have been happy if Alfred had died. I don't understand what Bruce did, but I'm glad it worked. I didn't follow what was happening with Tabitha, Butch and Barbara. In the Arrowverse, the "green" water is a pool of magical substance that can heal and even restore life. Bruce poured some on Alfred and it sealed his wound until they could get help. If Bruce had dumped Alfred into the pool, he would not have needed a doctor. I am glad he did not dump Alfred into the pool because it has been known to make a person's spirit darker. On "Arrow", Oliver's sister, Thea, was brought back to life and she turned into an evil, psychotic killer. She was not the only one. I thought the Tabitha, Butch and Barbara drama was pretty good.

How appropriate that Adam West left us on the week David Mazouz took over as TV's live-action Batman.
Also, I saw a headline online that said The Penguins won the Stanley Cup.

3.07 Mad City: Red Queen 10-31-16
When Jim Gordon makes contact with a substance in the hand of Mad Hatter, he's led on a psychedelic trip in which he must face his past, present and future; Penguin has a difficult time with Nygma's new relationship. This show used to be funnier, though it's funny in a sick way. I can't exactly say I liked the mad hatter, but I enjoyed his style. I liked Jim's conversation with his father. I'm not crazy about the 1959 Dodge but older cars are always a treat. There was a 1962 Buick on a recent episode. And I liked the "Leave it to Beaver" family. I had forgotten Jim wasn't a cop and Barnes didn't want him around. He must have suddenly been a cop again without explanation, and it must have assumed it happened in an episode I missed. Barnes was already showing signs of going nuts.

I wish I had some proof of which episodes I watched. I don't seem to have commented on all the ones I did see. I just gave up trying to figure out which ones to see.
I came to the conclusion the next episode I hadn't seen aired November 7. But that's the day we elected an actual crazy comic-book villain President of the United Sates.

3.08 Mad City: Blood Rush 11-7-16 T The effects of a recent incident begin to cause Barnes to go mad; Nygma is over his head in his relationship with Isabella; Carmine Falcone throws an engagement party for Lee and Mario. Wait, why did I think November 7 was a Tuesday? And has this show ever aired on a Tuesday? And I did post here that I saw the next episode after Halloween. I know that was a Monday, because Monday was the night my cable went out. So it's November 14 I'm not sure about, and whichever episode came after November 21.

I had to figure it out. There were at least two episodes I missed based on my comments. The first one didn't seem familiar but by the end everything was familiar. Hopefully I saw what I remembered in the "previously".

Exciting episode. The script has flipped between Capt. Barnes and James Gordon. Because of the blood in his system, Barnes has gone rogue and is on a mission to kill the criminals who have eluded punishment for their crimes. James does not agree and Barnes plotted to get rid of James. James’ best friend and ally, Harvey, never gives up on him, even though he does not always agree with him. Harvey and Lee manipulated the policemen to do the right thing and rescue James Barnes. Ivy revealed to Selina who she is, but she brought trouble with her. The trouble made Selina less than thrilled that Ivy is back. I was glad Selina called Bruce because she was a little freaked out by Ivy’s story. I like seeing Selina and Bruce team up and together, they tried to solve the problem of the stolen gem by returning it. But they came upon a murder scene…and a key secreted inside the gem. Nygma learned Isabella died in a car crash and he became depressed. Cobblepot was not sympathetic, but he tried to pretend he was. Nygma is highly intelligent and found the cut brake line when he examined the car. When he approached Cobblepot about it, Cobblepot was terrified, but Nygma thinks Butch killed Isabella in retaliation. There is so much drama, and it is exciting. I watched this. The man saying he hadn't seen anything in years telling Nygma about Isabella seemed very familiar. So did Mygma examining the brake line. The stolen gem, however, was not familiar. I suppose I enjoyed this more than recent episodes. Even with all the violence. Harvey told Jim he knew how to do his job. A few hours later, Harvey was Jim's boss.

3.11 Mad City: Beware the Green-Eyed Monster 11-28-16
The lab developing a cure for the virus becomes compromised; Mario and Gordon butt heads before the wedding; Selina has an unexpected encounter; Barbara brings Nygma information about Isabella. I did not recognize some of the events from “Mad City: Time Bomb" and I think I paused the episode ¾ of the way through and forgot to watch the end. It is clear what happened though, and I do not plan to watch it online. The current episode reminded me of “Arrow” because it is dark and because it has many separate elements that made up the episode. Nygma appears to be the smartest person in Gotham and it was easy for him to trick Penguin into revealing his feelings. I am very interested in the way Nygma will get payback for Penguin’s duplicity. Barbara is less annoying/more entertaining as a crazy ex-girlfriend than as Gordon’s girlfriend. I am glad they kept her around. Nygma’s apology and Tabitha’s reaction to it was laugh worthy.
James Gordon made so many emotional decisions, he is lucky to be alive. However, there is no way he will emerge unscathed because there is no proof that he was protecting Lee from Mario. I saw Mario’s knife float downstream and Lee did not see Mario's transformation before Jim shot him.
Falcone will be furious and I do not think it will matter whether he believes James’ explanation. His man Victor is so darn awesome, he could be a meta human from The Flash. (He did play “The Mist” meta human on The Flash.) It will be very exciting if Victor goes after James.
I did enjoy the scenes with Bruce, Alfred and Selina. Alfred is smooth when he goes into action mode. I know there is no way Bruce could have held the tight rope steady enough for Selina to walk across it, but I like it when they work together. I do not remember Selina’s mom. Nothing about this was familiar so I think I did the right thing. This time Harvey is in charge. Barbara is entertaining at this point. Jim reminds me of Arnold Schwarznegger in that movie where he was transported into the real world and found out there was such a thing as pain. How is Jim indestructible? We know something is wrong with Mario but it can't be proven. I also enjoyed Bruce, Selina and Alfred together. It ended up being pointless for Selina to walk that tightrope.

I decided to see what would happened if I just went to Netflix on my TiVo. It sent me right to an episode I knew I had seen so I went to the next one. Some things didn't seem familiar but some did. And when I look at my comments it looks like I might have seen the episode.
I could definitely tell I had seen the next two episodes.
Lee is gorgeous. She has kind of let herself go in recent episodes, but she's still attractive.

I stopped watching assuming I would realize I had seen them all. But then I watched one more because it didn't seem familiar. I did not remember Penguin hiking through snow. But Selina was pushed out the window and I did remember the cats. But that would have been in the "previously" Actually, it wasn't. One cat, maybe.
But all the others looked familiar. I have cancelled Netflix since my free month is up. I may watch one movie tomorrow. That's my last day.
