How will Mary Winchester figure into the hunters mix?

It was good to see our team again, but they certainly took a beating.
I liked the scene where Mary and Dean reconciled. She handled that pretty well.
I knew Sam had heart, and he handled the torture like a hero. Even the mind-control drug could not break him. It made me sad to see him left on the stairs all alone. I was shocked that the woman with the brass knuckles was able to toss both Dean and Castiel around. What are they feeding her? Thank goodness Mary did not hesitate to pull the trigger.
Lucifer must be desperate to gain human form because it is unusual for angels to just bounce from one vessel to another the way he is doing. He burned through an entire family because they were not strong enough to hold him.
Finally, Crowley stopped taking disrespect from his minions. I think they were as stupid as they were disrespectful.

Hello! Long time no new SPN. I enjoyed the episode for the most part, I liked seeing Mary and liked seeing her have problems with how her boys have turned out and what they do was not what she wanted for them. Glad to get the answer to what happens to angels when they are "dismissed" they become Casteroids ( I read that somewhere) I think Cas might need to have some anger management classes, though it could be nice to see this Cas as opposed to gloom and doom Cas who is weighted down by self loathing, guilt and despair. Over all I thought is was a good start, I felt bad for Sam and wanted to give him a big hug, and a blanket, and some dry clothes, and maybe some hot chocolate and some soup. But dammmm, he was so strong and was unyielding and wasn't going to break down or give in. I love strong Sam, stop making him need help all the time. I am kind of interested in how RS will portray Lucifer next week and how this will play into this years storyline. I think the brass knuckles had a spell on them and that is why she was able to take down Dean and Cas. I do have a question though, why did it take Dean and Cas both to push the truck, Cas is supposed to be strong, why couldn't he just push the truck with one hand to hide it?

I think the writers tend to overlook or forget things the fans would never overlook. Either that or Misha said "I am not pushing that damn truck by myself!" A spell on the brass knuckles sounds like something the MOL could accomplish. After the women hurt Sam, I lost sight of some of the bragging the lady did. She said they warded bridges, etc. so they would be alerted whenever a monster was around and there had been no deaths. That is impressive, but I do not see how the hunters could ward every possible monster haven in the U.S.

Finally got around to viewing the premiere and I really loved it. Dean and Mary's initial reactions to each other were priceless. Mary must be completely overwhelmed by the passage of time and the fact that her husband is dead and her two boys are grown men.
I didn't get why the BMOL took Sam to a veterinary's office. You mean they can't take a bullet out of a man's leg? That seemed a little weak. Especially when we heard the doc had her phone number.
The torturer was brutal. She didn't seem to have much of a soul. Glad she got offed.
Did it seem that by the end Toni was coming to a different opinion regarding Sam?
Isn't Cas a full blown angel now? Why is he driving a car and physically fighting (and losing) to a human? Why is he pushing a car? The writers have to view some of their canon re: the power of angels.
Best part for me was Mary calling "Baby" "Sweetheart" and Dean rearing back in shock when she smiled at the back seat of the car.
Looking forward to next week.

SoCal, I think Cas is a mostly full powered angel, but not all the way. He still doesn't have wings so he has to drive. I think he lost in his fight to the woman because she had some fancy warded brass knuckles.
I have no idea of why he couldn't push the truck all by himself, that just seemed odd.
Lady Toni, might be seeing a different side to the boys, I think she might have been surprised by Dean calling. I will be happy to see her get a few knocks after the way she treated Sam.

Nov, I agree that Sam was great in this episode. Loved the ...."you're an accent in a pant suit" line! I never thought about Cas as only having some of his original strength. Toni had better change her attitude toward the boys or Dean with annihilate her! Which wouldn't be a bad thing!
