I'm betting that Mary becomes Lucifer's new vessel.

I enjoyed the "second half" of the premiere episode. Not quite as much as last week's episode, but pretty good nonetheless.
I LOVE Lucifer's new vessel. He puts more evil into the character than Mark Pelligrino who added more humor to his characterization. Never knew much about Rick Springfield before this, but he's terrific so far. I wish he had snapped Rownena's neck again. Where did he take her?
Crowley's interaction with Lucifer was great. I don't think he'll get away with his usual snarkiness with this incarnation of Lucifer. And wow, that sulfuric acid action was gross. Great special effects. Loved Luci's red eyes.
Can you tell I like this new Lucifer?
Still not sure what is up with Castiel's angel powers. But I do like that he is also more fierce and less comic relief.
I hate Lady Toni. And who is this Mick guy? And who is the English baddie they called over from across the waves?
Loved Sam's interactions with Mary. And I also like how Mary seems to be fitting in. They're making her transition a little rough and I like that. Poor Dean, sitting in the kitchen drinking and looking at old photos. And Mary going through John's journal. Weepy, weepy.
So far I like how the season has started off. I just hope the writers pull through on such a good start.
Looks like next week we're on a new monster hunt.

I do not know why the poll was locked, but I opened it. SoCal Let me know if you want it locked. I enjoyed the episode and did not realize I had not posted. Mary did fit right in and she was not brash or foolish. I expected her to storm the place and be in trouble immediately, but she waited awhile. She has not forgotten how to fight. The predictions that Lady Bevell and Sam would be lovers were true only in hallucinations. Thank goodness for that. They are being vague on what the BMOL are doing to overcome our guys. I saw Cas’ dismay but could not determine what was trapping him. Lady Bevell does not fit my image of a British Lady. Does Queen Elizabeth know how the ladies are acting these days? Dean, Mary and Castiel got rid of Jen but they did not hide the vehicle well enough. Mick found it and deduced that Lady Toni and Jen were acting as vigilantes. At first, I was relieved he did not agree with Lady Toni about killing the hunters, but it seems that is his Plan B. Did he change his mind about forcing her to go home? He said the home office insisted she return. I agree Lucifer is very different from the cool, calm and collected Lucifer of previous seasons. This dude is a cold-blooded killer and the red eyes are scary. It was pretty cool to see Lucifer's wings. Crowley’s suggestion for Lucifer to rule heaven sounded good to me, but I burst out laughing when Crowley zipped away and left Rowena standing there. That is truly a dysfunctional family. Looks like a pretty good season.

Hello, I liked this one, some parts more than others. I was really hoping the beginning with Sam and Lady Toni, wasn't true, thank goodness it wasn't, that was just gross. I am hoping something happens to Toni, I am tired of her and hate how she can't even give the guys a chance to see if they are good or not. I liked Mary and Dean and Sam and Mary interactions, I really loved the end with Mary and Sam, he finally got to hug his Mom. And he never backed down or gave in to the torture. Dean and pie I liked seeing more BA Crowley, where has he been?, though I wonder what he will do now to fight back against Lucifer. I like this Lucifer, he doesn't seem to put up with much. I can't say I am surprised to see Crowley leave his mom behind, unless that was the point of it? I had seen Rick Springfield over the years, and so far he seems to do a good job with Lucifer.
