Has anyone watched this show? Really well done and the atmosphere is really really creepy. I watched the pilot and still remember I smiled when the experienced priest picked up his stuff and left to join the other priest. I knew it was going to get really good. I am recording the other episodes and will binge watch soon. |

"Let 'Em In" was a really exciting and dramatic episode. Father Marcus confronted the demon in Casey, but he and Father Tomas cannot convince the church to perform an exorcism. It is not because they do not believe them, but they are not willing to say why.
It felt really good when Casey hurt the young man on the subway train who was harassing her and touching her even though she told him to stop.

"Let 'Em In" was a really exciting and dramatic episode. Father Marcus confronted the demon in Casey, but he and Father Tomas cannot convince the church to perform an exorcism. It is not because they do not believe them, but they are not willing to say why. It felt really good when Casey hurt the young man on the subway train who was harassing her and touching her even though she told him to stop. My favorite scene is when the kid breaks his own neck. The scene where Casey broke the guy's jaw was hurtful too ^^ |

The exorcism begins; Father Tomas and Father Marcus engage the demon in spiritual welfare, but the demon has a few secrets of its own, as the manipulations begin to drive a wedge between the Rance family.
The demon whispered something to Mr. Rance and he wants his wife to be honest with him about something she is hiding. It must be a big secret because no matter what he says, she is not telling.
Father Tomas' secrets make him vulnerable to the demon and in spite of Father Marcus' warnings, Thomas makes a mistake.

Angela Rance is the adult Regan MacNeil. She survived demonic possession 40 years ago.
Her estranged mother, Chris MacNeil, exploited the tragedy, but now she says she wants to help find her granddaughter Casey.
The influential Maria Walters and the Friars of the Ascension are behind the murder and organ theft of nine people in the region. “The one” they called forth chose to inhabit the body of the Police Superintendent and Maria looked furious because she wanted to be chosen.
Holy revelation – the rogue angels who supported Lucifer are also known as demons.
Father Marcus is remarkable and fearless. He followed demon Casey into a dangerous part of the city. Even though he witnessed some terrifying spectacles, he never wavered and captured Casey.

I guess it is obvious I am binge-watching this show and I am enjoying it.
Another exciting episode in the battle against the demon that is possessing Casey. The demon really wants revenge on Casey’s mother because she escaped it years ago. Casey’s body is deteriorating so badly the Mother Superior told Father Marcus to let Casey die. He keeps resisting the nun and is trying to save Casey. The scenes of exorcism are fantastic and horrifying.
Meanwhile, back at the Rance home, the mob is camped outside their door and is harassing them.
Brother Bennett is a warrior and outspoken. His investigation led him to the place whether the Friars mutilated the nine bodies. When he was attacked, he defended himself quite splendidly and single-handedly killed a demon. (Sam and Dean Winchester would be impressed.) The demon said the pope is a pig and pigs get bled. Based on that, I believe the Friars of the Ascension plan to assassinate the pope when he is in town.
I knew it was going to happen, and it cannot end well. Angela/Regan will meet the demon.

The demon took Angela on a trip down memory lane so she could relive his original visits to her when she used the Ouija board. While the demon mesmerized her, Tomas, Marcus and the nuns continued the exorcism. They were making progress when something unexpected happened.

After the Rance family returned home, Casey was despondent over the deaths the demon caused her to participate in. Angela did some weird and unexpected acts.
Tomas was offered a big promotion, but had to end his relationship with Jessica. He also learned something happened during the exorcism.
Marcus learned about the assassination plot and that the death toll has risen.

This season is as good as last season. There are two story lines.
Cindy has been taken over by a demon and the priests were attempting to exorcise the demon. Cindy's husband does not believe she is possessed. The priests took Cindy out of the hospital and the sheriff and his friends chased them. Father Tomas has the unique ability to enter Cindy's mind to battle for her soul. Father Marcus is dead set against Tomas doing that because he knows the demon can trick Tomas. That is an on-going issue between them.
The demon corrupted Cindy's body and she looked ugly and scary. It was vicious and almost destroyed the hospital. But my money is always on the priests.
The other story is about a loving man who is fostering a group of troubled children. There is something wicked in the woods surrounding his property. The stories should come together during the next episode.

Whenever I see a swarm of birds in a movie, I know something evil is tormenting people. The little girl suffers from agoraphobia. The foster father finally convinced her to walk outside with him, and the birds swarmed and attacked the house. I bet she will not step outside again..

I think this season is scarier than last season. Brother Bennett continues to combat the priests who have been integrated by demons.
Fr. Tomas and Fr. Marcus are on an island where a demon has terrorized the population for fifty years. Andy is desperate to keep his foster children safe but does not want to believe there is anything supernatural on the island. In the latest episode, Andy had to confront there is something wrong, but decided it is in his head.
Each time Andy's deceased daughter appeared, she did something vicious. Andy is the only one who has seen her, but she has caused other people to get hurt. It is the demon who can take different forms.
