I really enjoyed the episode and the humor. They dug deep into the archives for the “then” shots of Sammy with bangs and the psychic kids. A lady walked into church, blood oozing from her hands and feet and whiplashes appearing mysteriously across her back. Later, Fathers Penn and Dinero questioned her priest. The names gave me a chuckle. Smart Sam recognized the words uttered by the lady were Aramaic. Another person died in the same way and that led the guys to an out-of-the way farm. Dean does comedy very well and I thought it was really funny when he struggled to climb over the metal barrier blocking the path. Sam just walked around the thing. Dean used to harp about Sam using his psychic ability but Sam was lucky he was not part of a family like Magda’s mother. That was an intense scene at the dinner table when that mom was going to kill her family. Sam could not convince the mother she was wrong, but fortunately, he got through to Magda. Although Dean was acerbic, I was amused at his willingness to pop a cap in the wiccan. He still dislikes witches. It was even funnier when she gave Dean her private number and had no clue what his plan had been. Dean was in a bad mood because he had not heard from his mother and was still hurt that she left them. I felt sad for him when he texted her and was unsure how to address her. I was happy she responded to him. I have always liked the boys' personal chats next to the Impala and this one went well. I thought we were ending on a good note…until Mr. Ketch showed up.

This episode just didn't do it for me. I get how it releates back to the psychic that killed his father and uncle and wanted to kill his step mom, but didn't get how that played into the PCS lady and the delivery boy.
And if she is psychic, why can't see get out of the basement?
Dean got kind of ditched in this episode and while I enjoyed Sam's scenes, the timing just seemed off. Dean has been able to drive across states faster than he got back to the house in the woods.
And a PCS lady who is burning a candle in her office? Don't think that would stand up to OSHA regulations. AND, of course, she just happens to be a Wiccan. That was a little trite.
Loved the ending, however. thanks Anti for that photo of Dean's cell phone. I almost cried when I saw the ..."I will always be Mom!" It just reminded me of my mom.
Anyhow, I gave it a "so-so."
And I hope for better things next week,

This episode just didn't do it for me. I get how it relates back to the psychic that killed his father and uncle and wanted to kill his step mom, but didn't get how that played into the PCS lady and the delivery boy. And if she is psychic, why can't see get out of the basement? My interpretation of what happened is that the girl was never given an opportunity to learn to control her ability. She was trying to reach the PCS lady and the delivery boy psychically to ask for help, but instead, they suffered what she was suffering. If she knew how to control her ability, she certainly could have gotten out of the basement. Her mother convinced her she was evil and she felt guilty so she did not fight back until her mother tried to kill them. True. But when Dean approached the PCS lady while holding the gun behind his back, I really enjoyed that.Ridiculous You are welcome. I loved that scene too.

Hello, I agree with SoCal, this one was just so- so for me.
I do have a confession to make I thought when Dean showed up in Beth's office to shoot her, WOW, was he super hot in that scene! I know that is vain and whatever else, he was gorgeous in that shot, and Sam is also looking really good in this episode.
I didn't care for the dinner scene, but did love Sam and the mom talking and Sam trying to make her understand, I like this take charge Sam, the one who wants to help and is sympathetic, but also tough as nails and willing to tell people what they need to hear. I did not like Elijah getting killed and hated the end, and have no desire to see anymore of the BMOL. Anti, thanks for putting that pic of Dean's phone, I couldn't see it on the TV, I was happy to see that.
I wonder if they are starting to pull Dean (JA)away a little as they should be having the babies soon.
and congrats to Jared and Gen on going to have another baby.

I noticed how good the guys are looking. Family life must agree with them. That will be three babies for Jared. I guess his wife put her career on hold.
I thought Sam was brave to be blunt with that woman, but he was right and she did need to hear what he told her.
I think I gave the episode a high rating because the Dean scenes amused me..
